@@ibrahimzaheer6582 I personally chose Nvidia due to Cuda in Adobe and Ada's power efficiency. I live in a country where we dont have electricity for about half the day. We'll have power for 4 hours, then it is off for 4 hours, then power for 4 hours etc etc. It differs from day to day, but when we are on stage 6 rolling blackouts, that is pretty much our schedule. I have a battery backup system and if I lock my fps to 100 with DLSS Quality and Frame Generation enabled, my GPU uses around 90-100w. I then have enough in my batteries to power the rest of the essentials for those 4 hours. This is obviously a situation unique to where I live, but a lot of my fellow country folk have also gone with Nvidia 40-series for this exact reason.

Appreciate the sub and the comment. I am still in 2 minds about voicing benchmarks as my subscription-to-view ratio is extremely low. I did a few polls and the majority said they prefer voiced benchmarks but I am not so sure. So there are two options here: Continue voicing but include my face, or stop voicing and make the videos a bit shorter. Will try the first option for a bit and see how that goes.

Thanks. It would fare slightly better now again as Intel are pushing driver updates like crazy. But I was very impressed with the A750's RT. For Intel's first attempt this is very decent.

Maybe you get 8% more frames but you also use 40% more power. BTW I'm being generous with those numbers I would say more like 6 % more fps and 50% more power draw

10:47 10 months old i am making this post. I think maybe after a few driver updates the Arc might be able to do a bit better at games like these. By time AMD got to 6600 XT, they were very advanced in their graphics development so the chip would be able to process games like this. Maybe the next Arc release they will start to really challenge AMD & Nvidia.

Arc has indeed improved quite a bit since making this video. I am actively looking for another A750 to make a follow-up video. But even so, your point is a good one. Intel's first attempt at a dGPU was very decent. It even beats the AMD GPUs in most RT titles as well as have a superior upscaling method that gets better and better. The only thing holding Intel back is driver issues. But those are also being improved massively as time goes on.

They have indeed. It depends on which games you play as Intel still has issues in some games. Newer games are mostly fine though. If both cost the same then the RX 6600 XT gets the nod from me. If you can save a few bucks with the Arc then it is a good choice as well.

Yeah, the driver versions are shown in the spec sheet at the start as well, but it was 4502. Overall not a lot of issues so far with it except in TLOU, and it still sometimes blackscreens via the capture card.

As for which GPU to choose, the Arc A750 has come a long way in terms of driver support, so it is a pretty good choice now, especially if you can get it at a cheaper price than the 6600XT. If they both cost the same I would personally still go for the 6600 XT. It has more mature drivers. What productivity are you planning on doing? Arc A750 is pretty good with video editing in Premiere Pro.

Strange though. Another youtube benchmark showing the a770 being worse than 6600xt in _everything_ pretty much to this one showing a 750! being better (perf wise if not perf to power).

It depends on the games tested. In games where Intel havent optimized their drivers yet the Arc GPUs lose by quite a margin, but they have improved their drivers significantly over the last few months.

The 3060 Ti is a bit faster than the others and has better ray tracing. The 6600 XT is a solid performer and the Arc A750 as well but the A750 does still require a bit of work when it comes to drivers. Honestly, if these all 3 cost the same I would go 3060 Ti. But if they dont and you are a bit budget conscious the 6600 XT would be my recommendation.

@@ayqiuu1520 In a lot of games the drivers are pretty much as good as it can be, and it outperforms the 3060 slightly in those, so I dont think it will catch up to the 3060 Ti, or beat it. I might be completely wrong though and Intel pulls some miracle haha!

In some games the intel arc does get lower fps but just look at the quality in 1080p,almost looks like 1440p

The difference in image quality is just because there's a difference in the default settings when connected to a capture card. Some GPUs will auto set the profile to 10 bit / full, and others to 8 bit limited. When using the same manual settings they will look identical.

Arc actually dies really well, but I would still recommend the 6600 XT due to it being more stable overall.

The power draw is still the same, but yes, lower is more efficient, which is important to many people.

I'd still go for the 6650XT, although the Arc A750 is better at ray tracing. At that price point I dont think ray tracing should really be a concern as you'll only be able to use very light RT methods.

Yeah, that's a fair choice, especially if you are still playing older games. Intel is getting better every day, but going with AMD or Nvidia is still your best bet for the best game support currently.
