I did the following build: Asus Tuff B760 mobo (It can do DDR4 RAM, which is what I had, plus it can handle higher generation GPUs as well. Intel Core i5 13400F 5700XT GPU. 32 GB DDR 4 3200 RAM All games maxed out at 1440p. Older titles 100 fps and over. Newer titles 60-100 fps and even more, NBA 2K23 does over 144 fps for example.

Thanks for this video. Now I know it works with 13 Gen F sku, discrete GPU, and old BIOS pre 1620 out of the box (but recognized as 12 Gen before BIOS update). Is discrete GPU still required when using 13400 non F with old BIOS pre 1620?

Hello, im planning on buying an i5 13400f with an MSI Pro B660M-E, but I dont really understand why u had to use an i5 12th gen to update the bios, is the i5 13400f not able to update the bios by itself, or not even able to get into the bios in the first place? Because if it can go into bios i can just download the bios drivers before hand?

@@SilentNinja1505 I figured it out, you can't use that board, you have to either have a 12th gen or a motherboard that had a bios flash update button, I chose the MSI z690a , but there are cheaper options for around 120$ from gigabyte. GL
