I´ve come from an I3 3320 with 8GB RAM (1333MHz, CL9) and a GeForce GTX 550Ti and put up 10€ for a used 550W power supply (Bronze85) 20€ for an Arctic 7X CPU cooler 30€ for 16GB of Corsair Vengeance Gold RAM (2x8GB dual-channel 1600MHz, CL9) 45€ for an i7 3770 non-K CPU (running at 3.9GHz) 125€ for a Gainward Phoenix GTX 1080 GLH Mainboard was and still is a Gigabyte Z77-D3H. The reward for those 230 bucks is just awesome. Running Cyberpunk 2077 on high settings, Hell Let Loose on high settings, FH5 on high settings, WOW Dragonflight on Ultra settings with a 10 year old cpu and a 7 year old GPU is just a cracker! Sure, it´s only 1080p but who cares? I´m playing actual titles on good settings on my TV, while my Playstation is coated with dust. Bargain! This is, by far, the best system I´ve ever put together on such a tight budget.

I feel like the cpu here really does bottleneck the 1070. I have a 2gb 1050 with Ryzen 7 1700x and on valorant I get 144-220 fps. Either way this video is still helpful and I appreciate the time you took to make this video! Edit: I just got the Gtx 1070 SC today!!! For 360$

Indeed in Valorant has been a huge CPU bottleneck. But keep in mind that your CPU is 4 years on the market. The i7 3770 is already 9 years on the market. The results in this benchmark are very well for a CPU with that age.

Yes especially in titles like warzone. But I still like the 3770 very much. Also the 4770 is such a nice cpu. Both already 8 and 9 years old but still keeping up more or less. At least 60fps gaming is still possible in all titles 😁

I got huge improvement moving to 3770 from a 3570. Make sure you enable the hyperthreads settings in BIOS to use all 8 logical cores if youre on a DELL system.... .

I have same gpu, cpu and ram. I was planning to buy a new gaming laptop but i suddenly change my mind and i want to keep my sistem and play games with it. My GPU is okay i know but unfortunately CPU is old (i7 3th) but even my cpu is old i want to hold it and lets see how much time i can play games without any issue. Thinking of making a small upgrade from my i3 3245 gtx1050ti to this i7 3770k and gtx 1070. Second hand prices will set me at less than $200. Do you think the increase in performance is worth it? I have no budget for a full blown upgrade and unable to anytime soon.

The upgrade from i3 3245 to i7 3770 is a huge upgrade in terms of performance. I'd advise you to only upgrade your cpu in the first place. This will probably already give you a nice performance boost. See if you really need the GPU upgrade later on after using the system with the upgraded cpu for a while.

Hello! im thinking to upgrade to a 1070. I only play valorant and minecraft but my current "1030" is not really putting out any performance. My major concern is, wont it bottleneck my i7-3770? Same CPU, GPU and Ram setup as mine. Running the CPU at stock and only recently upgraded from stock Intel cooler to a similar Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 blue cooler. Love to also see thermals/temperature tests. Should also test "Kingdom Come Deliverance" as that is a highly demanding game. Much like Crysis was back when it was released.

I'm afraid it will go down 60fps even at low settings because the cpu is weak. I have the same cpu and gtx 1050, i can't even utilize this gpu at 99% mostly it is around 85-95. Also the game really needs optimization like a lot. Especially there must be a water physics off switch.

It's from 2012. I can't remember where and for how much I've bought this system. I have been using it since nearly 9 years. At the beginning I was using a gtx660 and upgraded later on to the gtx1070.

У меня i7 3770 и 1070 видеокарта но у меня фортнайт в 200-400фпс справляется и кс 200+ФПС и даже 400 иногда бывает, среднее 250фпс,тут же 130-170 редко 200,больше Я не играю не в какие игры,но ещё геншин на ультрах в 60фпс без лагоы
