I know this video is a couple years old, but I'm curious... It looks like you installed both gpus which brought both gpu pcie lanes down to 8x, and then put the BM card into a 4x lane speed slot. Is this correct? It doesn't seem like you are getting the 8x lanes to the BM card? The specs on the MSI site have this listed as options "3 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (support x16/x0/x4, x8/x8/x4 modes)"

Stupid question: im running on a asustek prime x399‑a, when I connect the blackmagic deck link quad HDMI recorder into my pcie port no power is going to it. When I plug the USB mini to an”external USB port” it works. Is there any way to get tower to it inside the case rather than running a cable out to the nearest USB port? Thank you!

You need to use your xmp profile or overclock it by yourself.

U need to go into the bios and change it yourself because it automatically defaults to 2133 MHz. Normally u would find it in AI tweaker but your motherboard could be different
