In any case just idiots use the igpu for AAA games. Integrated graphics are for work. Many use luna and gforce now for play videogames. In that way. Amd gpus are pretty bad . Intel bring a better task management and their integrated graphics do not affect the performance. Seriously if you want play games "buy a switch or steam desk". Even laptos with gpus are pretty bad(like 35% than his desk versions). And drain the battery pretty fast. If you want be a professional start to think like them. Just dont wasted money for try to make 2 choices and the same time(work and play). First focus on the job for make money and with that money you can play all the day.

Intel one fps fluctuate a lot but Amd is very stable so it's a better option to go with amd it doesn't fluctuate that much even tho getting a little less fps

It could be the RAM frequency bro. Because the VRAM of an iGPU is based on the system RAM, the frequency of the system RAM is also passed to the VRAM. The recommended RAM frequency for an Intel Iris Xe is at least 3200 MHz. Otherwise, the frequency of the Iris Xe would be limited.

It had to be dual channel, as performance would have been terrible on a machine that is single channel. And RAM speed can be different too- so I guess it was lucky that the two machines tested have the same DDR4 3200 dual channel RAM.

Bro I m confused I saw a video comparison of the same igpu in the same chip just 6 months before when i5 1235u recently came out and vega7 in 5500u was easily the winner as it was giving around 5 to 10 FPS more in every game. But in this one it was neck to neck competition and I would say iris xe was coming out as a better one. And it would be smarter to go with irisxe than vega 7. But not 6 months ago how?

@@Aryan-wl1pu you could safely says that it was because the driver updates that is coming to Intel's Iris Xe Graphics, it seems to make Core i5 + Iris Xe a bit faster/better for gaming.. R5 5000 series with Vega 7 in Dual RAM slot memory is on par with core i5 + Iris Xe.. Without dual RAM memory, Iris Xe is definitely 20-30% better in terms of graphics performance..

@@Aryan-wl1pu No. As far as I know, the only chip who get benefit significantly with Dual Channel is AMD.. You get 25-40% boost power for graphics performance because AMD add a certain software within the Ryzen chip that will be activated when its dual channel. Whereas thats not the case with Intel and Iris Xe.. but Iris Xe still get benefit by just additional RAM memory,, the performance may not significant, maybe around 5-15%.. its only from additional memory, not because a boost performance in graphics. It may good if you play heavy games that need more than 10GB RAM like Dying Light 2, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk, or Far Cry 6.. or heavy apps like Blender, AutoCAD, or Photoshop.. Single RAM slot AMD Ryzen Performance: 6.5 intel Performance: 7.5 Dual RAM slot AMD Ryzen Performance: 8 Intel Performance: 8 And just noted, with only a single slot memory, Iris Xe graphics is already strong in performance.. 30% better than AMD in one slot

Minimal differences. I would go with AMD as it is slightly cheaper with the same specs (even better in some areas) and drop another 8gb in RAM. 8 gigs of ram in 2023 laptops are just not enough, only OS takes about 2 of them. If you want to run a dB migration file that requires around 1-2 gigs of temporary RAM your system will throttle.
