I’m an active duty veteran and the survivor of an attempted murder at the hands of a LEO who after my mom ended their relationship cut her phone lines, stalked her, and assaulted & attempted to murder her. I happened to walk into the situation…at 19 years old, home from the service. I was unarmed, 100 lbs smaller and 7” shorter…he was CC…I had no idea until he shot me in the L chest at point blank range. Two times, once after I was on the ground. I still love with one bullet in my back. His sentence…ONE month in jail, immediate release from LE service. Thanks to a DA who faired with the shooter. I’m living proof of the relationship & situation you outlined in this video. What you said & what many people feel…are real, authentic and true, but this is MY experience. You ALL take care. Truly. The airial photos showed a hole in the top of the AT&T building. All of the glass was in the street and not inside of the building. Positive pressure blew out the glass. look up NVIS near vertical incidence sky wave These antennas give you a higher vertical elevation angle ; the opposite of what most hams want when wanting to make DX contacts , a regular vertical antenna has a low angle radiation great as the signal goes a long way to the horizon before hitting D E or F etc. layers of ionosphere and reflected back down over a great distance ? Skip - hence why HF between the ground wave and the skywave have a gap not covered by HF comms / same with your horizontal dipole or your horizontal beam 1/2 wave or more above the ground / you get distance and skip either a gap in between / now if you you use an NVIS antenna designed to have a high angle of radiation it can come right back down and cover that gap / you don’t get long range DX / but you will get you skywave on HF 50-300 or even 50-600 miles and your ground wave should also cover the 0-50 miles / the antennas are specially designed but not overly complicated / usually located closer to the ground and have sloping wires etc Sort of like a sloper element hanging off a tower that’s loaded against the tower or just some large top hats on top of a short vertical element …. The frequency and design of antenna as well as propagation tools can be found online and should allow you local comms without a repeater … commercial NVIS are also sold but keep in mind frequency choice is critical

I can't remember the hurricane, but the Seabees rebuilt Gulfport after it. With Katrina, they were told to stand down because they would be harming local construction contractors competing for rebuild monies. So they did nothing. Wonder if it's still the same story.

When I was doing wildland firefighting, national guard helicopters were not allowed to compete with private contractors, so we could only order them when we didn’t have enough helicopters or while waiting for private ones to arrive. (Also the guard pilots weren’t very good lol). I don’t know if that was the particular state’s policy/agreement or federal policy but the hurricane thing might not be as malicious as it seems.

Man, I enlisted in 1990 and we were sill using forms and pubs with 1965 dates on them. Desktop publishing has made the do loop way to short. Now every O-6 looking for an EOT award can type up whatever he wants to get his Legion of Merit.

In the end they do not need policies and directives to kill citizens, they just need an order. The real question is in the case of sedition, who is to handle that. The Constitution, you know the law of the land, is quite clear. That group is also the only group allowed to enforce federal law. On the intel collection of US citizens, well, if that involves any searches of any kinds, the Constitution is quite clear on what is needed for that, not matter who is collecting. It all boils down to what you believe. If you believe that the Constitution means something, then it is time to stand up for it. If you believe the oath you swore to it, means something then it is time to stand up for it. That means at the least speaking up.

When I was a forward observer, I did some training in Louisiana.. we had no weapons on the ground. But we were sneaking though the local Leesville with our night vision, having F16's doing target talk-ons on people's houses. The cadre said, "there's a bad guy with an RPG on that porch" and then we would have to get on the radio and talk the pilot into the target. They would confirm that they had a target lock by shining an IR laser onto the target house. I always wondered what the locals would think if they knew we were pretending to bomb their houses....
