But now I’m vegan, 7 years vegan, and I don’t go to the dentist because I don’t need it because no plaque at all. Try it for a month you’ll see ✅❤️🦵💪😬. Are used to weigh 65 kg, eating animals. But now I’m vegan, and I don’t go to the gym, I weigh 75 kg. Fat blocks the arteries. Try it. It doesn’t hurt. A hundred bushels per acre translates to about a third of a cup per square foot. With the pleasure vs pain argument, would just say, that suffering is a key component of moral choice. It isn't just pain, it the component of suffering that committed vegans and even Buddhists strive to reduce if not prevent. Also, Buddhism discusses the principle of interbeing. . .Interbeing is understanding how everything is connected to everything else. Paying money for "meat" is connected to the suffering of sentient beings. When we get ready to cut into the meat to take into our bodies, we are literally consuming suffering and violence that has gone into that meat.

Assuming humans are not herbivorous, it is factual we can live perfectly fine without meat and if that's the case can something as small as a 10 minute lunch justify so much suffering and death of innocent animals? But let me post some detail about the differences between carnivorous animals and humans -Carnivores can see in the dark, we can't -Carnivores have a lot shorter digestive tract to get meat out of their system fast -Their gut contains around 10x the acidity of humans required to break down meat -They have claws to hunt -We need vitamin C to live abundant in plants but only found in some obscure organ meats -Our jaws move side to side like other herbivorous animals such as cow, horses etc carnivores can't do that and also have much stronger biting forces -Herbivorous animals sweat through pours carnivores pant when hot -We have colour vision to pick ripe plants -Carnivorous animals can handle cases of hypervitaminosis for example getting excessive vitamin A from eating liver we struggle and in turn get severe side effects.

I want to note im a picky eater, and usually the food I eat is more expensive if you go for the vegan option. Is there any advice I can get to push me in the direction?
@someonesomething2 жыл бұрын
hey gunner. I'm opposite of you I only eat to survive and as natural as possible i can. but my stand point is and only advice is everytime you order or buying animal product debate with yourself on point. if you cant justify it, dont buy it. then you have to find antoher option to eat ofcourse i would suggest to make a few vegan comfort food in your mind and if you cant think anything else but those comfort options. you can struggle at first week but you can increase your recipe options day by day learning and discovering. thats how i started i started with only eating pasta with can of ready to eat beans and than i add all the vegetable meals. i eat mostly steamed because im too lazy to spend 30 min to make a meal. but debating yourself is a good option, i still couldn't justified eating animal products after 6 year and still waiting for it lol.

Firstly I'd establish a clear picture of the industry you support by buying meat, dairy and eggs. I'd recommend watching Dominion on KZbin. Then I would basically try to make the connection every time I see animal products with the victim behind it. If it's cheese, picture the mother cow being exploited, with meat picture the animal terrified in the slaughterhouse, with eggs picture the male chicks going to the blender etc. You have to visualize the impact your choice has and make the connection between animal products and the suffering that's behind them.
@therockingvolbeat36302 жыл бұрын
I used to be really picky and still probably am compared to most other vegans. I didn’t eat things like pasta and beans and just lived on meats and pizzas. When I went vegan it pushed me to try the things I’d convinced myself I didn’t like. I now love pasta, beans and much more that I would have never tried before making the change. The little extra price on the comfort foods is worth it for its lack of abuse but I recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things and things you’ve not tried in years that you have convinced yourself that you don’t like.

I think a good measure of consciousness and what it is would be the following: Consciousness is an awareness of one's surroundings. Thus thay awareness must have some meaning to the subject of whom is aware. Therefore, if they are aware of their surroundings, they would also react to their surroundings as being aware of their surroundings must also mean they can locate themselves in space, within the world. So, a conscious subject is aware of their surroundings and therefore themselves. This awareness would be pointless if they could react to it in someway, to adjust to an ever changing environment (their immediate surroundings) . Therefore a consciousness being would be able to move within their surroundings developing a further awareness of the space around them and therefore experience in general. Therefore a conscious being would be able to make decisions based on their experience of their surroundings. So basically, if it can move, sence (see, touch,hear etc) it's surroundings (awareness), it is conscious. If it can't (plants) it most likely isn't conscious. This is more of a rough guide I use, there are still grey areas but this guide can apply to most animals to measure their consciousness.

Haha Joey iLove your work but on the plants. First of all people manage all the time to distract you with a different discussion, the're changing the subject aren't they? And second i think science on plants and so on suggests that consciousness is really really broad, as in energy and intention and so on. So i think all creation is conscious in a way. For a plant to live its full life it needs to set flower, fruits and seeds and die in its own time. We can harvest from a "Holy Garden" only the leaves we want to eat, for exaple kale and salads and beans and fruits, and leave the plant be. No, you’re not. You’re trying and that means a lot… try eating fewer animals, less often. 2 or 3 times a week instead of every day. Over time, you’ll find great recipes and new ideas, plus new things are coming to grocery stores weekly, and the prices on them will drop the more we buy them. If you see something interesting, try it. Keep going, the only failure is when you quit

@Ryan Robinett Interesting point but I disagree. They don't promote themselves as non-profits. If they want to make money whilst continuing to dedicate their time to raising awareness and waking people up to the suffering and exploitation I have no problem with that. In fact, I think to have the following they have and not monetize is a waste. However, I see why you feel that way. If you're donating to nonprofits doing this work please share.

btw Joey, i am all-in on the vegan debate and i am vegan myself but you can't say there's nothing living inside a tree, or a plant, as if you were comparing them to a house. Especially because it fits your arguments in the conversation. Don't be hypocritical like all them meat-eaters in absolute denial of animal suffering for there own pleasure. Man has to eat but yeah, trees feel pain and express it through glutamate responses too. It has been shown, scientifically, through imagery and datas.. Same with mushrooms, plants, most flowers and so on. How would you explain "carnivor plants" if not ? The grass even sends a message to its neighbour whenever it's getting cut, as a warning ; which is pretty interesting knowing its probably doomed anyway hahaha. What about mycellium, abling entire forests and tree to communicate to one another ? No sentience ? Come on. Good luck on your journey. Thank you for keeping up the fight. I am personally bored to do so and generally mostly do my own; try to lead by exemple instead of persuasion... Anyway. Cheers man. Thank you for everything.

I agree with you that killing animals causes them pain, it’s murder, no being wants to die , every living thing wants to live. Im vegetarian Im allergic to animals protein even fish ect. What would the world be like if everyone is vegan? Can we feed the planet 🌍? How would we do this? I work in small scale agriculture, we feed our livestock soybean hulls, hay, brewery waste, crop silage from failed corn crops, tree trimmings, yard waste, restaurant food waste, Christmas trees, and anything else we can get from our local sources. Animals are basically a solar food production factory. What about the ocean? Millions of people consume seafood for survival, what would you do as an alternative for that? To make a pound of tofu you end with an equal amount of byproducts straw, hulls, seed coat ect , if you compost the waste you actually produce more green house gases, what is the plan for that? Also where do all the now feral animals go , in Florida feral pigs are destroying farms, what would you do with the animals? What is the plan for the grass pastures? Should we turn everything into a mono crop human food production? #vegan #feedinghumans
@redbriarn62952 жыл бұрын
All these videos have the same narrative. Basically does it hurt animals to be killed =yes. Can animals feel pain = yes. Are animals intelligent = yes. Are factory farms an awesome living area =no . Would you eat your dog = tbd . Rape in dairy = yes. Murder of animals = yes . My question is what about the rats 🐀 and flies, and cockroaches 🪳 and feral animals? What are you going to do with this issue? Mass compost in open air will absolutely increase vermin , insects, and food production loss. Are we going to sterilize all animals on the face of the earth
@seitanbeatsyourmeat6662 жыл бұрын
@@redbriarn6295 The animals we eat are specifically bred to be eaten… they’d die off naturally and we wouldn’t continue to breed them. I’m not sure what you’re talking about with cockroaches and flies, we have them now. Birds eat bugs like mosquitoes (they actually can eat their weight in bugs daily) as do spiders… are we overrun with bugs now? Why would not eating animals change the situation? Actually, with the lack of slaughterhouses, we’d have fewer cockroaches and flies Most crops are fed to animals, not humans. We can feed the world population roughly 7x if we all went vegan. Don’t believe me, google it. Raising animals to eat is a huge waste of calories from crops, also the water required (did you know it take 1000 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon of milk? Look it up) and the pollution caused from the run off from these farms. The Gulf of Mexico is under threat from animal agriculture run off There’s always some excuse to not go vegan, but that’s all it is: excuses
