Nimra Sohail and Areeb Adnan Khan, Computer Engineering students from the Class of 2024, had the opportunity to present IntelliCropPK, their sustainable AI solution for agriculture, at COP28 UAE, the United Nation’s 28th annual climate conference. Their project was one of 100 projects selected by Prototypes for Humanities, a platform which brings together innovative projects addressing various critical global issues, to be presented in front of a global audience at COP28 UAE.
Through their project, Areeb and Nimra seek to empower small scale farmers to make informed decisions regarding agriculture. IntelliCropPK is a smart, sustainable agriculture technology which takes vital parameters from the soil and uses AI and Machine Learning algorithms to do predictive analysis, which can help in increasing the quality and quality of yield.
