That's very interesting about the way populists use peoples' needs to focus them in suspicion and anger towards an outside group. Since Trump was familiar with the international commerce world and had cronies as competitors, I guess he had to turn towards his own country to find that leverage. Edit: because the attempt to govern by business is sensitive to image, I suppose. While war is profitable for Trump's cronies and they wouldn't mind profiting from conflict, these days an image sells products and can also make or break a large concern. Power to the people at least to some degree. Excellent guest, thanks.
