@@ethanlappin you really had to be there every performance...I keep finding new bits from old shows and they are all so fking brilliant. Also its funny to know the polished joke when you hear an earlier version of it^^ The taitoh(I'm guessing the brand spelling) chips/crisps story is one of my favorites that I have only seen him do once.

@@josephinemonahan915 Just because someone has university/college degrees does not mean they have common sense or emotional intelligence. Just book learning is not the same as having common sense. I like Dara very much. I first saw him on Would I Lie To You (WILTY). I believe all the seasons and episodes have been posted by various people on KZbin. That is where I watch them because I am in the USA. I have to go in another room from my husband because I laugh too loud when watching it.

Hilarious,,,but I assume he was being called offstage as he's missed the end bit off the 'Lords Prayer' joke...you know, where the Catholics all say '...Deliver us from Evil, Amen' but the Protestants are all still all smugly carrying on with '...Deliver us from Evil, for THINE is the KINGDOM, the POWER and the GLORY, FOREVER AND EVER. Amen'...lol I've been to a catholic-protestant wedding in Ballydehob and I promise it was just like that, lol.

We only really have London as an overall parliament now to give a semblance of a centralised command structure. I believe much of the confusion stems from the "Old IRA" (pre-1922), the pre-split IRA (1922-1968) and the "Provisional IRA" (IRA splinter group; post-1969). The Provisional IRA has been involved in recent bombings, executions, and civilian deaths (usually mis-identified or collateral). I personally think that anger concerning pre-1969 stupidity shouldn't be used as an excuse for murdering people today. That's over 40 years ago, people - I bet most o' the PIRA members weren't even alive then!

@Markgangzta The father of someone I know served in Omagh the day it was blown hit. He was one of the first British Personnel to arrive at the scene. 5 years later, he left the British army, and vowed never to go back. 20 years he'd been fighting, but in the end, he'd had enough. It wasn't people killing the enemy any more, he said. It was all politics, and no-one making the decisions gave a flying fuck about the man in the street.
