Better than Pitbulls imo, their jaws are too heavily built and can cause damage even when playing. Staffs are not quite on that physical level but none the less are feirce protectors and arguably the best emotional companion of any pet.

What a beautiful dog! Staffy breed are so intelligent. Our Staffy flips his own bowl to let us know hes hungry and taps on door to let us know its feeding time. Nobody thought him that. He waits and gives his paw up right after serving him. Sometimes we stare at him and wonder if hes somewhat human. We were shocked he did that on his own.
