From Season 1 Episode 2:
Duane Gilbert shows us around his picturesque Utah ranch and introduces us to his aggressive herd that packs a kick capable of killing a lion. In California, we learn just how brutal Chimpanzees can be and two experts explain just what makes them such dangerous pets. And we finish up the show across the ocean in Lincolnshire at a wildlife park that’s home to some unique animals not normally found in an English backyard.
Predator Pets - Alligators, snakes, wolves, bears, and more, these deadly pets offer an adrenaline-pumping experience you just don’t get with a poodle. Have some pet owners crossed a line by keeping these wild animals in their homes? Predators Pets investigates extreme pets and the danger factor that their owners see as a positive rather than a problem.

You see those poor animals rocking back and forth and that’s sad. These animals have been taken from their families as babies and stuck in a cage. Cruelty and more cruelty.

@@mujahidal-deen2195, But a dangerously aggressive Rottweiler or Pitt B. could easily do some serious damage to its’ owner(or someone else) if the dog is neglected/abused by the person who is supposed to be in charge of taking care of it.

Humans can be so very strange, odd, and sometimes (albeit unconsciously) cruel to the point of putting others in harm out of personal selfishness, projection, anthropomorphizing animals and keeping them confined.

Why would you want an exotic pet? Narcissism is all I can think of. If you want a companion, get a dog. It is called mans best friend for a reason. They've adapted to humans for thousands of years. Their brains are basically rewired to live with us and understand us.

39:20 "Three months later I said, we gotta do something ~ quickly, cause they're gonna come back." Hmmm, three months wasn't quick enough I guess. Maybe that story was told out of sequence and it is when he saw the three cars that he said that?

Actually, in other countries, the exotic pet trade is less regulated and sometimes not at all regulated. Sure, the US isn't perfect, but keep in mind where these animals are bought from!

Coming from Africa made you an expert in every field? Arrogance is (or was in Martine's case RIP) alive and well. Every enclosure is a small concrete slab surrounded by a chain link fence in which the Department of Fish and Game deemed as "serious cage violations". Animals pacing and rocking back and forth is abnormal and a sign of stress. Human greed, ignorance and arrogance is wiping out EVERY species on the planet. Including us humans.

They should be careful how hard they push...these people are what pay their bills. Realistically pet ownership is a responsibility and the type of animal doesn't matter. I would not have a wild animal but I know many people who do, and safely. I bred dogs for years, but I wouldn't recommend doing that either if you don't know how. You have to educate yourself and learn how to do what you are going to do. Education, not restriction. That's the real key. There's no problem with owning an animal when you do the things necessary to care for it properly. I think its even important for learning love of wild animals when you see a captive one as a pet, even in a video because you see more of the personality of the animal. People's love is what keeps people from callously destroying the wilderness where they live. Think of the few pets not as prisoners but as important ambassadors for their species.

This lady may have rescued a lot of animals but I think she is terrible, look at the size of those cages. They are far far to small for the bigger animals eg lions, they should have bigger cages it's cruel. Maybe she shouldn't rescue so many and instead make her cages bigger and more realistic eg have grass they can walk on instead of hard concrete.
