You should go to Sasquatch Bricks in University place, they have the craziest selection of boxed sets I’ve ever seen. They have over a thousand in store and a warehouse totaling over 10000, it’s amazing and they have pretty good prices

I will be 65 this June .I didn't get into Lego til my early 40 's .Hey the boxes say until 99,so I still have time to enjoy.Also in 2022 my wife of 39 years passed and Lego really help's with the alone time .

Power miners is easily my favorite line from my childhood! I haven’t seen them in my BAM stores ever and then I started watching reviews about them just feeling nostalgic and THEY POPPED UP IN MY LOCAL RESELL STORE a couple weeks later. It’s so cool having sets from when I was a kid

I swung by Bricks and Wheels in Kent briefly when I was driving from Alaska to Los Angeles when I moved a year and a half ago. I only had a few minutes and not having hours to spend there is probably my biggest regret on my drive down :(

These stores are amazing. Living in the Midwest and travelling to the West coast last year, this was a very cool experience for me. The Kent location seemed to have a larger selection of older sets but both were so packed with sets. And the prices were for many sets quite reasonable. I was able to get both the Blacktron Message intercept Base as well as the Space Police SP Striker which are hard to find complete in the states.

My Brother and I each got a Jack Stone Toothbrush in 2002. Mine was for Christmas, my brothers for his birthday. Still have the figures though the brushes were thrown away years ago. What nostalgia. My brother got the same one Chris was given. Though we also had Bionicle electric toothbrushes. I got Whenua, my brother got Tahunuva. Nice to see a decent Bionicle selection at Bricks and Wheels.

23:07 - Prince Justin on the loose, nothing you can do, you can try but why? You know youre gonna lose! Belville is so underated. As a kid I had 4 (out of 5!) of these Belville Fairytale character set. Unfortunately theyre all in oretty bad shape (cracked wrist, lost the hands, scratched torsos and even craked knee), and Bricklink lists them as one single part, so its impossible to get say an arm replacement: just have to buy an entire figure. Good news is, they're pretty inexpensive, and I got myself the King, (sealed mint in box just like you!) for $10

As a college degree eastern European, with $1000 monthly paycheck (which is considered high wage), I just don't understand how an average American with 3x or even 5x monthly income is not storming the store and buying all those vintage sets, figures and parts. There is no way a $200 vintage set, or $500 lego haul is considered "expensive"? If I was to buy, let say, an eldorado fortress, I would have to drink tap water and eat bread for the rest of the month.

Tons of other things are increasingly expensive. For example the housing market is insane. It’s really tough to justify a purchase on Lego when it feels like it dents your future home savings

Cost of living is really high currently. On top of that most of the time if you’re making more money you tend to want to live in a nicer place which subsequently costs more. At the end of the day, it’s hard to justify a lego set at the moment with the cost of everything else and realistically also needing to be building savings at the same time.

I been to the shop it’s a good shop has a lot of Lego and a lot of mini figs all good priced he don’t play the high ball price game he blows things out real fast they must have had some people come in a help them get it together there is a lot of things there I been two times and it’s a great place to buy and I don’t ever need to go anywhere but there and the Lego store or online no one can beat it him and his dad when it comes to prices I will be there to see you and bring you those that I mentioned on live episode a while back so I’ll bring you those on feb 17 at the Bellevue store !! Maybe you got a Sabine helmet to trade !! I got some cool lego parts I know you will like !! I lost her helmet when I went to Disneyland last may lolz anyway if you don’t got one no big deal and yes the old one is the one I am talking about !
