The Intellivision wasn't the first console to have 60 FPS games you know, and in fact it is a very slow-paced system. The Atari 2600 had a ton of 60 FPS games and it was an earlier system. And probably every video games ever made before that were also 60 FPS.

I don't know if that's sarcasm or not but it is annoying as shit to watch people play a game where invincibility frames are indicated by flashing at 60fps, and they recorded it at 30fps so it just looks like nothing half the time and invisibility the other half.

+KamekAdvance I have 2 Plug&Play consoles. I have "Plug It In & Play TV Games" and the "VS Max". The VS Max have original games, but most of them are either shitty versions of board games, or boring puzzle games. It has some cool games, but they don't have the quality as an NES have. The only thing interesting about it is the menu screen, it's a dead alien with the x's over the eyes and the background is bloody red with black text that I don't understand.

It really is an innovative series that really stands out when you look back on what the Grumps have done this year. This year has been great for GameGrumps but... there's just something about this series that feels very original. Like there isn't another GameGrumps series that feels quite like this. I'm really enjoying it as well, it's very comforting to watch!

Tower of doom is THE #1 intellivision game. It's super advanced for it's time. It takes some time to figure out what does what but when you do it kicks ass. It has 7 classes to choose from. It has a map and inventory. You can level up attributes. Lastly the harder stages have randomly generated layouts and a victory end screen. It has to be the first true RPG and I love it so much I dropped $50 on ebay for a boxed copy with a manual.

Not totally surprised. This game came out in '86 which was pretty much the peak time for the game Rogue, where the term Rogue-Like comes from. These kind of games are a lot of fun and I didn't know that the Intellivision had one, and I'm a classic gaming geek!

Thunder castle is the tits. I so wish danny would have figured out the objects because some are super useful. I also wish they'd made it to the last level. Had an intellivision, Tower of Doom, Thunder Castle, Dig Dug, Diner, Star Strike and Thin Ice are the best carts on there. One strategy on the red dragon is to try to kill the yellow one near the castle door while a bat is near by and just kill the red dragon right as he appears.
