I totally agree. I have been in this hobby for close to 40 years, have races sponsored, and driven everything out there. My Fireteam is my favorite single RC car period. The manual brake and long chassis make it the best of the ARRMA 6S monsters.

I almost stopped half way through the video seeing just unboxing and driving was so slow - better suited for Tamiya (which I do love). Thank goodness you did push it harder in the second half and didn't shy away from showing panel damages. Good to see the limits of this vehicle. Thank you Greg!

I was thinking this would be a desert/Baja type racer. It looks like it could hold its own with that, but I can appreciate Arrma adding a few things to distinguish it from the typical desert/Baja racer. The handbrake, in particular, is an interesting addition.

It lands on it's feet way more than MAXX does, that's for sure. This one may be good, hope it's actually durable.

The long, wide footprint, plus the long travel shocks really keep this thing stable. I believe the tall wall tires, although wacky looking really help with stability and landings too. So far so good!

Also it wasn't built strong enough for its weight so it's constantly breaking parts unless you upgrade most the vehicle. It turned into a huge money pit lol hope this Arrma is built much better because I can see the potential for alot of fun!!

I don't know if this was intentional but the dudes in the vehicle look like they just stepped of the set of The Expanse! Their suites resemblance to Martian light armour is a little uncanny. Maybe this is meant to be used as a Mars rover? It might be cool to cover it in MCRN decals? Now I suddenly want one just to do that!

How do you clean your RC vehicles?

This one will be a hose down with CowRC cleaner. Then I’ll spray the metal with WD40, brushed it down, followed by blowing it off until everything is completely dry with an air compressor.

Great review great. You're videos are extremely well done. With this being arrmas heaviest vehicle with these electrics did you notice any heat issues? In warm weather and grassy areas I think it will be a problem at over 13lbs. How was the body at keeping debris out of the chassis compartment? Looks like it has very good coverage.

Unfortunately being in the Northeast I haven’t been able to temp check it in warm weather. All my running so far has been in below freezing temps. That being said, I have done back to back runs without a break and without issue so it appears promising. The inside does get dirt in, but the center driveline area sees minimal debris. Its wider using the kraton arms. It's also 2lbs heavier. With the same electrics the Mojave would be livelier. The fireteam body would keep debris out better though. My mojo is always a mess inside...

This is pretty much the standard design for 1/8 based platforms for ages. It’s very rare that there is a problem.
