WOW that IS alot of stuff... those plastic stencils, I bought those for my daughter in 1985, from Tupperware.. she was 3 years old and she STILL has every one... her children love using them.. and also the ball with all the shapes.. she still has it.. OMG I can't believe what Im seeing. she has those BOB books for a few of the kids too... WOW.. Jillian as Rapunzel HAHAHA very creative..Jaxston so cute letting the Jasmine out... sigh.. Ill trade this snow ANYTIME for the pool...NOT JOKING.. I hate driving in it, even though I drive a Jeep, I still hate the snow.. the first time it falls its so pretty and cozy looking but after its a pain in the %&$... cleaning off the vehicle, thank GOD I dont need to shovel any more, living in this high riser senior complex , parking lot is plowed, saw the games, love monopoly, clue and scrabble.. my 3 faves.. enjoy sorting things... gotta be a MOM thing,, I use to love to do that, still do and my daughter does too... everything goes with what ever it belongs to.. I usually need to organize my clothes closet, I tend to not want to donate anything with hopes I can fit into it SOON but it never happens... loved this video... take care.. and stay cool.. I'll trade 12 below temps for 112 heat.. hmmm let me think about it.. LOL

One extreme to another. The pools nice, but risking actual burns touching things all summer wears on ya. And getting into a 400F car… 🥵 also the way the sun evaporates all the moisture right out of ya literally feels like you’re evaporating. And of course there are the ones that come to visit every year and think “it’s not too bad” and try to hike or something and die. They made laws against hiking with dogs over 100 because they kept dying every summer. Awful. It gets dangerous quickly. Ugh… summer. The rest of the year is beautiful. Trying to not stay up too late. Night!

I have a grade school sized backpack that definitely fits on my shoulders, and I put all of my grocery bags in it. It lives in my car and I find it’s really easy to grab because of the backpack when I head into a store and also to bring in when I bring the groceries in. Then I just repack the backpack after the groceries are put away and toss the backpack into my trunk. It seems like a backpack wouldn’t be any different than any other bag to carry bags in, but for some reason it makes all the difference for me remembering to bring it into the stores and also for being able to get it back into my car. Hard to say why, but thought I would pass on the trick. It’s been working for me for the past five years or so.

I actually love that. Leaving them just laying in the car I felt always got them so dirty! A backpack also keeps them from getting gross. And yes..easy to grab!

I find that I am constantly organizing and re-organizing closets, drawers, cabinets, my pantry and refrigerator it’s a constant battle. Because it’s easier to toss things wherever than it is to put it back where it belongs especially when your in a hurry or really busy. Thanks for the motivation can’t wait for your next video.

Know the closet feels so much better. My mom is about to clean out some of her things later next week. She's kept things for keep sakes door so long, and is sadly getting bombarded with memory items. She's going to take pictures and place inside photo albums (she's nearly 70 and is rather tired of the hoard) to view as she gets older. ❤️❤️

That closet does a lot! You need an Elf closet system and over the door organizer from The Container Store. I've had them for years and they would be perfect for that closet! It would even allow you to keep the bags and cloths in that closet on the over the door organizer.

We had an over the door hanger, made the door stick. We have a screw in one on the pantry. There’s definitely a lot of room for improvement to make it look good and function better.

In a way I’m lucky, my house has no closets and is quite small so I’m forced to keep clutter to a minimum. Unfortunately my lack of a closet in my back porch means I struggle with the area for coats/boots/mitts and toques (I’m in Canada). I hope to find a cupboard that will function to store everything when it’s needed but also during the summer when I prefer not to have winter coats and boots laying around! I’m so excited to see what you build for your entry way! Hoping it might give me some ideas.

This closet was our “coat closet” but there is no need for that in Phoenix AZ. 😂 So I added shelves. Our last homes were small, and yes… clutter is definitely something that needs to be kept up on in that case. It will swallow up all the space real quick!

I just checked out the temperature in Phoenix over a year, I can’t believe how hot it gets! In the UK I get excited just when it doesn’t rain and is 65 and above 🤣🤣🤣 plus love the organisation

I have tons of storage, enclosed backporch, 3 bedroom closets (varying sizes), hallway and bathroom closets; however, deciding what should be stored where is one problem, I am also a comforter and sheet set fanatic... I like to change for the seasons (dont care for white/plain at all) and I also have lots of large canvas art which I rotate, storing the comforters and art is a challenge...

I am struggling with areas like this. And historically it has just piled in, so Im trying to finally go in now that most areas have had at least 1 pass of decluttering and figure out organization. I know Im a butterfly (macro categories, visual organizer), but clear containers are soooo expensive! Lol, so far Im using the cardboard trays that my cat food comes in to work like your low shallow baskets, but wondering if I switch to other baskets it would become to hard to see because the sides would be higher.

Yes, containers can be EXPENSIVE! I spend many years repurposing boxes to organize. Once I got real comfortable to commit I started to get inexpensive ones. I like easy access and not too intricate of a system. Casual is nice. And regular touch ups are helpful at keeping it in order.

Q#2 - Why haven't you labeled any tubs? It's probably part of the reason stuff doesn't get back where it belongs. Even the kid's accessible tubs can be marked with a simple symbol of what goes back into it...(like a Lego for a Lego-tub, a doll accessory for the doll accessories-tub, etc. Looks like you have to guess what goes into the large tubs the adults need to utilize too...Just sayin'. Since I started labeling tubs/drawers - even with a generic term like "ointments" or "markers"...my spouse can drop it in (or find something) as neccesary...
