Awesome video Jake, I believe the clearing is for a mine building a conveyor belt - I passed through there in Jul2020 and got escorted through their construction site by 2 friendly traffic controllers.

The bushland on the East coast has suffered badly from a lack of controlled burns in recent decades. Hope the same bureaucracy isn't destroying the beautiful bushland where you are.

I reckon it's quite different over here. There's always loads of controlled burns going on, I don't think we have it as bad as the east coast, not by a long shot
