I saw them last week on Friday in Colmar, France. The performance was just absolutely masterful. And yet, they finished in front of about twenty people, including me and a friend that I had persuaded to come, a lover of Baroque and classical music who knew nothing of the band and who remained taped !!! Sometimes I do not understand metal lovers ... My tributes, gentlemen ... I sincerely hope that your European tour is going well. ... with Laibach and Watain, one of my three best concerts in 2019.

I just saw them on Saturday, at a brewery in Purcellville, Virginia. A friend of mine is a big fan, but the closest thing to metal I'd ever seen live was Deftones. My idea of metal is listening to the occasional Slipknot song when I'm feeling especially angsty. Nevertheless, I've got a pair of toddlers and rarely get a chance to get out of the house. So, when my friend said "brewery" and "metal show" I was like hell yeah let's do this. These guys were absolutely phenomenal and I'm hooked.

TJ's drumming in the first half of The Atavist's Meridian is insane. It's like he's conjuring Bonham, Moon, and some sort of eldritch god of drumming all at once.

I'm watching this on a TV connected to a decent stereo and I've got to say that Maximum Volume Silence really outdid himself with this recording, it looks and sounds HUGE. Inter Arma actually sound better live than on the albums!

The first for notes were played in a cowbell. That's not something you see everyday in a metal concert. 😁

the bassist shoulder must hurt because of how much he holds his bass over his head.
