She introduced me to so many bands I listen to all the time and I attribute my wide variety of musical tastes to her. Give it up to Maynard for being so accessible and still going strong into his 60's! 😮 Bert did a great job interviewing him more so like a friend then a Podcaster/comedian. Maynard has such a cool demeanor and smooth talking voice. Minus his musical voice he seems like he never argues or yells at anyone even when it's necessary. He more or less just kills you with intelligent sarcastic venom. Hence must be extremely difficult to argue with someone like him 😅 this interview definitely shows the humor of Maynard and his desire to be more of a comedian then a rock star. I can definitely see the lure of his character and how he must have a lot of genuine friends in all types of circles. Thanks for a great conversation guys 🤙🏼♥️

I totally get the humbling part of learning something new, last week I had to drill out my spark plug cylinders in my 97 f150 and tap new threads so I stop blowing spark plugs. Sitting on my knees on top of the engine drilling out 8 cylinders and tapping and loctite all the threads for the inserts😂 it sucked but I needed the truck ready for a trip from WI to Lake Havasu City AZ for winter, and also replace the gas tank in the truck, was allot of work but I did it all myself. That was more Adam's thing, if I understand correctly. He was and still is the visual guy for Tool other than Alex Grey. If he hadn't ripped them off/made an homage and also had Kurt not named dropped them by bitching and complaining about it, then I may not have ever discovered the amazing works of The Quay Brothers or Jan Svankmajer. So I see it as a win. I also still love the old music videos for Undertow, especially "Prison S*x". I was lucky enough to catch the few times they allowed it to air on MTV before pulling it for being "too disturbing for viewers" along with "Mr. Krinkle" by Primus. Both of them really changed the way that I heard music and saw art. Good times!
