Interactive pdf scheduler on the Kindle Scribe

I found a useful interactive pdf calendar/scheduler as a free download that works really well on the new Amazon Kindle Scribe. You can hand write notes on the month view or the day view and it keeps them all nicely organised.

Have you had any trouble when selecting a hyperlink towards the top of the PDF causing the top Kindle menu to appear? Don't know if there's a way around it...

It depends where you're coming from. I feel alot of people are just repeating the few that have actually used Remarkable, Supernote & Boox, there's others but that's the main competition. I can't tell you how many didn't even care about e-ink tablet devices until the Scribe.

I'm coming from an ipad pro and a surface pro with the apple pencil and windows pen and those are good but you're writing on glossy glass and it's not like paper at all. This one has a matte, scratchy feel like paper. When I started using it I stopped and had to check in the light to see if I was actually scratching the screen as thats totally what it felt like - it's almost unnerving. But that's what paper feels like with a pencil actually. There's zero lag and while it doesn't have 1000 levels of pressure sensitivity who cares. For taking notes it's perfect.

Hi I got my scribe last night and I've loaded the calendar as directed. Mine has Quaderno above the year and although I see the months for the year, it won't let me click on a day or month. What am I doing wrong?

I can find nothing in the link you provided that has anyting to do with the scribe. First its in Japanese, with Chrome you can translate it sort of. The link goes to something called Quaderno, which has nothing to do with the Scribe. I've never found any of these "write on" journals or calendars that worked.

I think the Send to Kindle app is the answer here. Didn't know it existed until now. Without using it, I couldn't use the pen on the PDF after importing the document. But using the Send to Kindle app for PC seems to solve that issue.

Yes the Send to Kindle is the way. I downloaded the pdf and used the send to kindle app on the Mac (as you’ve said it’s on PC too). YOu drop the file in, wait until the mysterious servers somewhere process it :) and it then appears on your kindle. Sideloading: plugging you kindle in to your PC, will allow you to transfer pdf’s to your kindle but you lose the functionality of interaction and/or pen functions.

It Japanese and since it’s produced by a Japanese company for a Japanese language product I’d doubt there’s an English version. I have seen someone is working on one on Etsy but it’ll cost you, this one is free

@@reviewsandprojects There are a number of people producing these on ETSY and they are SOOOO much better and not all that expensive. The most expensive one I've seen so far is less than $20 and the functionality makes it well worth the money. In addition, those folks will modify them to your specification if you like. I don't know if there are additional charges, I'm still looking. The thing is that all anyone is doing is making editable PDF documents and including hyperlinks. I don't know how to do that and I'm not sure it is worth my time to learn.

This PDF calendar is pretty cool but I am pretty sure most people already use a Google, Apple, etc calendar that is accessed from all of their devices: phone, tablet, laptop, etc. I would say a person who owns a Scribe is not your average Kindle user. That person is going to be more tech savy and have the above mentioned shared calendars already. What is the use case for this?

This is horrible! Whatever write on the monthly calendar cannot show up in the daily calendar, and whatever in daily is not on the monthly one, there is not even an indication on the monthly one to show it has contents. This means that if you rely on such calendar, you HAVE TO check Both monthly and daily one to make sure you are not missing anything.

That actually sucks. It would have been better if it would automatically do that. But I guess the easiest solution would be to manually mark the monthly view in order to know when you have events, like a star or something.

What you should do is mark the day you write something in the monthly view, it's not that difficult, if you're lazy it's your problem. This is a reader, not a tablet, and that tool is free.
