Hello from France. Funnily, some of the idioms are also used in France. I.E, "bending over backwards" is "se plier en quatre" (folding himself in four parts), or "off the beaten path" corresponds to "hors des sentiers battus" (exactly the same words and meaning !). Thanks a lot for your videos, so useful for so many non native speakers...
