Never use Liquid Gun, that oil will destroy 650 engines. Even the one meant to be used in it.

We use engine oil in the engine to reduce the friction between piston and Cylinder walls,But Due to Long runs,Engine oil gets overheated And Looses viscosity and thus becomes thin,And Therefore its protection decreases ,Which results in increased friction and more heating,And Metals have basic property they expand on heating right,So ur piston increases in size and thus become stuck ,Which is called engine seized.It can happen due to excessive long tours,Bad quality oils,Wrong Grade oil,Faulty oil pump etc

I think while putting the engine back together he can investigate and check all the parts. He is a harsh rider. He likes to have fun. Maybe because of such use. Still the engine should not have failed.

​@@anirudhhhh Yes I agree, single cylinder engines have a higher probability of failing, but a 650cc twin cylinder has sufficient power & capability to take a beating. I think the design of the engine is suspect. Maybe RE cut corners to make the bike affordable. I think even long distance riding will not be reliable on the RE 650 twins. In my opinion twin cylinder or more engines should not fail unless run without oil.

I think your exhaust is the reason why this happened . Because aftermarket exhaust changes fuel and air ratio in the engine which makes the engine run lean or rich which damages the engine.

There is no connection in between after market exhaust and internal engine functioning It could have happened mainly due to sudden acceleration or deceleration or due to usage of incorrect engine oil grade

Not changing engine oil on time and riding very hard. This engine heats up a lot and it doesn't even have a dedicated oil cooler. It's purely air cooled. So changing oil on time and not riding at redline will help

@@vikasshelke5544 Agree. Having bushes instead of bearing is a sign of cost cutting and not so good a design. Maybe RE wants to recover cost via service & spares for giving a low cost motorcycle therefore unreliable. At least engines should be bullet proof, they are the heart of all bikes.

@@Satish-nn1pt I dont know if you have used Honda twin engines which came in older 200 and 250cc models. They were know as bullet proof engines. Simple and reliable. I am still using those in 2 of my bikes. This video shows same kind of design, thats why i commented here. Honda Honda CD125t, CD200, CB200, CM200, CMX250, CB250 etc. 250 cc engine had few slight upgrades to Cam Tensioners and CDi upgraded.
