Hi James I wouldn't have thought of going for the black; but you've changed my mind. They look really good.

I personally prefer them. I did consider the natural alloy look but thought these look better

I put a set of those levers on my sisters CB 500X and after 4000 miles they are still looking good. The fit is very good and function so far is very good.

I’d say they are as good as any others. I suspect all of the levers which are retailed in the U.K. are made in China

They look just like the ones I bought, I've fitted adjustable levers to the Interceptor and Himalayan, I went for black too and they look great. I too have big hands but I found that I needed the levers a little bit closer. I bought both sets from Hitchcock's and paid a lot more than you did. Ride safe

I dare say they are the same ones, tbh. Hitchcock’s are just a retailer, as far as I am aware. They don’t actually manufacture anything and are retailers of parts, so they obviously add a profit margin onto anything that they sell. That brake lever is a long way off, even for big-handed people like us!

Look similar to one's I got off Hitchcocks but I got the shorter levers cause some long length levers stick out past bars.Definitely a improvement & gets rid of another ugly cast steel bit. Now you got a paint that front fender holder😁😆😂🤣.

Might I suggest filling the threaded mirror mounts using black rubber or plastic hole plugs? I found some on Amazon, they were pennies a piece. I also removed the fender extensions on my RE GT 650 and filled the visible holes on the fenders with gloss black smooth headed plugs. I have the same levers, though I bought them from Hitchcocks. Great channel!

A few times I've used white nylon nuts, bolts , and washers to fill things in. Which sometimes is suitable.

I’ll have to investigate!

Rubber grommets will do it quickly & easily. They may need the lower shoulder cutting down a bit. :)

Blanking grommets that is ;)

I ordered from the same seller and just got them today. First thing I noticed is they are shorter than the ones you got. I think I got the wrong ones.
@internetpolification5 ай бұрын
Yes, they do look shorter, I must say. Mind you, plenty of people prefer the shorter version, tbh

Hi James, i was going to comment on your wing mirror mount holes. I blanked mine off 4 years ago with ones from Ebay for Yamaha MT09, MT10, XSR 700/900

I've never figured out what I should lube those pivots with. I'm always thinking if dirt gets in there it's going to be abrasive and turn it into lapping compound. Dirt bikes usually put a rubber boot over it. All bikes should have a rubber boot over it. I've had mixed results buying from UK. Twice in the last year UK suppliers wouldn't or couldn't fill online orders, then didn't refund my money. I had to go to the credit card company and get the charge reversed. One of the tricky wickies tried to substitute a lower quality lower priced item, but leave the charge the same as what I paid for the more expensive item that they couldn't ship.

That’s unfortunate re buying from the U.K. Not good! I’ve found buying from Chinese sellers to be very reliable. Realistically, I don’t think much road much would get into grease on the levers. Rain and water, yes, but not much, if any, road muck. Even then, cleaning them out once a year as part of regular maintenance would be easy enough. I certainly wouldn’t want to have no lube whatsoever in there…

With adjustable levers, when chosen a setting closer to the handle, do you not run the risk of clutch not being fully disengaged in the squeezed position?
@internetpolification6 ай бұрын
It does pull the clutch actuating lever slightly less but the clutch operates fine….
