Push cable or return cable as some would call it, just like side stand and clutch switches, a lawyer induced safety device. Oh and I forgot last time, in 1963 when I first started riding and wrenching on motorcycles The part known as the Triple Clamp or some time triple tree comes from the stem and the two branches coming off of it to hold the forks to the motorcycle. Steering stem and three point clamping, left fork right fork and frame. Anyway that's what I was taught.
