Thanks man, we're working on some new upgrades and videos. Thanks for watching

When are you guys picking up a dyno bro, love to see what these inexpensive upgrades can produce performance-wise!!

I would love that. But unfortunately we have to go by seat of the pants and running against other X3s when various upgrades. Very scientific 😁

Good morning, excellent your video. Can you explain to me if the cable to connect the intercooler fan already comes in the 120 HP x3 or do you have to make any modifications? and if so, what would have to be done or bought to connect it. Thank you
@oneoffgarage4 жыл бұрын
There's a wire already there, unfortunately just plugging it into the fan will not make it work. So we simply ran a writing harness. The same one used for a lightbar. Back to the fan. We then cut the connector off the factory harness I believe it was blue. Attached it to our wiring allowing for easy connection to the fan. Then by adding a switch to the dash you can turn on the fan at anytime. (Connect the power to the accessory power on the power block) I run mine pretty much all the time. I have been told you can have the ecu flashed by the dealer to use the factory wiring. But it's big $$$ being just a part of the 172 upgrade. I hope that helps, if not let we know

Hey bud, was the intercooler worth it? Notice a difference at all? Was there more turbo lag? More power?
@oneoffgarage5 жыл бұрын
The only place I really noticed the difference was on longer pulls, the power felt consistent. On shorter runs im sure it helps but not as noticeable. Living in sw florida ill take whatever extra cooling I can get. I'd do it again, cheap and easy upgrade.

So the intercooler pipes and the actual intercooler with fan are off a 175hp machine?

Yep, all OEM can am parts

How did you support the intercooler?

It just mounts in the stock location. All the tabs are there already

@@oneoffgarage ok so the bolts are the only thing holding it up?
@oneoffgarage Жыл бұрын
@@g-bodygarage3608 just the 4 bolts that the metal tray has . The intercooler uses the same bolt holes

do you have 154hp now or you have to do someting helse
@oneoffgarage5 жыл бұрын
Wick it states 145 to the wheels with the flash. The intercooler helps maintain that number. The clutch kit I put in gets it to the ground pretty well. So far I'm real happy with the upgrades. I've got a few more things I want to do then im going to find a dyno to see the actual numbers. Thanks for watching
