Welcome to another vlog gang! Our VRSF Intercooler finally came in so we headed over to Pat's from Pat's Garage Online for the install. Surprisingly, the install is pretty easy. We then used the Dragy app to see what 0-60 improvement it made. According to the Dragy report we would of ran 4.97 sec if we ran it at a track. Next steps? BOOTMOD3 STAGE 2!!! Stay Tuned!

Another great video Soto. Been waiting for you to get that FMIC in! I just got my charge pipe in over the weekend. Followed your instructions and also lubed the pipe. Took some muscle to get it seated right for the clamp to lock in, but success. Thanks for the inspiration and guidance from a fellow F10 owner. Can’t wait to see what that car does with BM3!

Thank you for the articulate, well documented and nicely filmed content. I have a F15 X5 N55. I'm thinking of doing the VRSF down pipe, charge pipe and intercooler and the Kies crank seal guard and Vitto crank bolt capture. I'm also going to try the K&N intake filter and see how that impacts performance as opposed to dropping another $500 on an intake with marginal results. After bullet proofing the car's sustainability and a bit of performance, what tune have you had experience with? I have the stock Sport and Sport + modes, so I'm curious how a Stage II tune will impact current performance coupled with what I've noted above. I'm seeking a tune i can turn on/off/valet mode. Just not sure what's out there that's reliable. My local shop is an APR shop but they control the tune, meaning I need to go to them to change it to stock for inspections. Any thoughts on spark plug and coil upgrades? Needed? I have no misfire issues with the stock set up. I'm at 60k on the motor. It's an SUV so I'm driving this car mainly on highways and not driving nearly as aggressively as I do with my GTI. Thank you in advance!

Having a tough time getting the bottom mount off of the intercooler on my X5 E70. Looks just like yours at 2:05 except I have two T25 screws on each side. After removing all four screws, it’s still catching on something and I can’t seem to get it!! Wiggled it around for a while but didn’t want to push/pull too hard. Any ideas?

It’s a pretty easy plug and play Install. Just be carful unplugging sensors. The clips can break pretty easy. Autowerkes can install as well if you’re not comfortable.

An intercooler upgrade doesn't really improve 0-60, but it will improve 1/4 mile.trap speed, reliability and high speed hp. A tuned n55 with stock intercooler starts out with 80f ait Temps, but on a tuned car those Temps will double at the end of a quater mile run,

The charge pipe yes. I would say that is a must! You can get yours here bit.ly/VRSFshop Intercooler isn't really worth it unless you are going to tune it down the road

We didn’t dyno after install. Didn’t notice much difference but installed to go stage 2.

why did you need to install the intercooler?

No additional parts were needed. Just some basic socket tools but a Milwaukee ratchet does help.
