A few decades ago I had a primary physician who had originally gotten his degree in the Philippines and then moved to the US and become a doctor here. When my blood pressure began to rise, he originally was going to prescribe a pharmaceutical. I voiced my objections to taking a pill and asked if there was a natural way to resolve the same situation. He told me I should get more exercise, walking a minimum of two to three miles a day and incorporating garlic and onions into every day diet. I asked him WHY he had not suggested that first and he explained that he was "NOT ALLOWED" to discuss natural remedies unless the patient initiated the conversation. Welcome to American "health care".

I had almost the EXACT thing happen to me about 10 years ago. I went to the doctor with extreme abdominal pain. I was 112 lbs, which is very small for me (5' 2" but very muscular and usually around 125). He said to take ibuprofen and Metamucil. I told him I wasn't going to do that so what else was there? He said it's probably diet related and I need to do the process of elimination for 1-2 weeks with each food I cut out, one at a time and add more fiber. I did that and finally found out that it was potatoes about two years later. Like, who in the world would think it was potatoes?? But I haven't had pain since. The last time I ate a potato in any form was February 2018. I'll never forget haha

@@thomasjcorson7502yes, rabbits are probably the best food supply AND manure supply. The only important thing to keep in mind, rabbits are prone to getting parasites, this why they MUST be kept in big cages above the ground (a few feet up). Other than that my friend, you got yourself THE BEST, the cleanest animals for food and compost production from their healthy feces. And If you add a few chickens, throw the feces into the chicken coop and they will mix the compost for you because they love grazing through anything that is under their feet . You will get lots of good quality compost from that, that you will have enough for your garden and to sell to others. I believe a 20 lb bag of this type of compost is somewhere around 15 dollars. I know people who have rabbits strictly for compost production, and they don't use them as food supply. All the best.

So true, I don't buy hardly any food products from the grocery stores anymore. A lady brought me a bag of food for Thanksgiving the other day and as grateful as I was to receive it, I ended up throwing everything out because every item contained bioengineered food ingredients and/or yellow dyes or chemical names which I couldn't even pronounce. Some would say I was ungrateful for throwing it all out because there are people who are starving, but I already have cancer and I don't need any more illnesses so no thank you I choose to be ungrateful if that's how people choose to label me and I would rather starve to death than eat that crap. It's bad enough that we have to fight for the air that we breathe in to not be filled with chemicals, let alone the food we eat, to not be poisoned also!! Aloha, God bless everybody 🌺🙏✝️💪⚔️

Same here. How can one be ungrateful to be wise enough to refuse to consume the poison😅 Yup, exactly same here. I'll starve to death before I kill myself intentionally consuming poison and the people making that judgement and donations with good intentions are ill and eat pharmaceuticals and can't or refuse to see, understand or believe that the crap is not food despite being advertised and sold as food. I will not eat from a tin can , cardboard box or plastic wrapper. And for goodness sakes, 'fast food' is NOT food! Yes, I will go hungry a million times over again before I eat a McD's burger. Seedless produce seems to me to not be food either😅 for without seeds where is one to believe the 'food' comes from. Then wonder why so many are infertile. Well, it's long been said, you are what you eat🤔

@@oysterman2517 I actually did the research and you can buy frozen chicken thighs, rice, and a bag of frozen vegetables for way cheaper than mac-n-cheese, fries, and battered chicken fingers. You can also buy frozen fruit for cheaper than you can buy a back of chips and snack cakes. A big box of rolled oats is also cheaper and way better for you than a box of breakfast cereal. When you start eating quality food with nutrients, you stop craving sugar. Your body will have what it needs. I've eaten less now that I've cut out ultra processed carbs and processed sugar and my allergic rhinitis is also better. I also see people buying a grocery cart full of soda with an EBT card all the time. People can do better. They just don't.

There have been food companies who were caught including additives that made people crave that product. That happened some time ago when Nabisco was caught including an additive in Oreos. It likely still is happening for many foods. And how many people talk about their junk food as "my" such as I just have to have 'my' taco bell each week or talk about how they can't resist something. It is something that is as bad as any other addiction. Will be nice when we can stop some of this and be healthier.

And notice how many 'affordable' foods at places like Dollar Tree all have the bad ingredients like bioengineered ingredients, fake sugars, artificial dyes, etc. Some of these people who do 'Dollar Tree Haul' videos often recommend these foods because they say they taste great not that they are nutritious! A lot of the food companies include additives that make people crave them. It will be nice when more of these foods are either eliminated, or those companies that choose to use them have to do a diclaimer on their labels and maybe even pay a fee to use them. Another surprise, mainstream toothpaste. A lot is loaded with detergents (sodium lauryl sulfate same as in your laundry detergents), dyes, fake sugars and flavorings and fluoride and we found out the hard way that these products can really irritate the cheeks and gums. But the dentists pass out sample to their patients too.

Most candies, including some chocolates, contain Titanium Dioxide, a toxic nanoparticle that makes brights brighter and whites whiter. Sounds like an additive for laundry detergent, not candy. The worst -- Skittles, M&Ms, etc.

FarmAlarm… lol that reminds me of my childhood. We used buckets at night or in very cold snowy days, because we didn’t want to go outside to the outhouse. I do prefer indoor flushing toilets. lol

Less than 100 years ago most everyone in the US used the "chamber pot" at night and the outhouse in the back yard. How did we create such a complex, interconnected, dependent "system" ??!

Doug and Stacey are right on this. I recently learned that on the 80's 2 large tobacco companies bought into the processed food producers to apply the same addictive principles to that industry. Just look up the addictive tendencies created from high fructose syrup!
