If you think carefully, Camouflage has more effect on the one who sees black and white. The person is already blind of all other colors except black and white which means if green hides in black or even red..even than for that creature, black will be hiding in black..so thats even more effective

@@ShomeAvi The point of camouflage is to mimic the colors around you. If someone sees in black and white, there are no colors to begin with and so the camouflage did nothing. Either you're visible or you were hidden even before wearing camouflage. The line isn't "a person who sees the world in black and white will see me," it's "camouflage has no effect." That is a true statement.

"The year was 1943. Our ship was stationed in Philadelphia and was equipped to generate an electromagnetic field that would make us invisible to the enemy. What happened instead: we were teleported to New York. And in that process, my shipmates fused to the hull of the ship, embedded in the metal, screaming for help. I was destroyed, forced to regain my physicality." "Where would you like to go? ...If you don't decide, I will. ...I will decide...like I have done to so many others." "Ladies and gentlemen, future historians will look back on this day as the beginning of a new era. Since the 1943 phenomenon, the world as we know it has been plagued with an immaterial "cerebral electricity." Ghost stories and myths became no longer superstitions, but a horrifying reality that we have been forced to recognize. We have since learned that this "electricity" was not a foreign substance - it had simply revealed itself for us to observe. To understand." "What a familiar feeling: the restrictiveness of the human body. To see through your eyes, the world around you still looks no different to me, but it's what you desire that brought you here, and these are the things I'm blind to. I know when something is obstructing your way." "I was like a little baby chicken, breaking through to explore the unknown, leaving Earth behind; a shell of it's former self. Something is telling me this is what we have in common. The only question is: When you broke free, what did _you_ leave behind?" "Dad, when I was young, I wanted to be a photographer just like you. To freeze time, and bear witness to the world. That never happened, but, I have memories...after mom got sick, during the funeral, the pastor just stared at you. I was too young to understand, and...maybe I still don't. I'm old now. Like you should be. But I need to ask. When I join mom, should we wait for you? Will you ever come?" "4.6 billion years ago, gravity pulled the gasses of a giant molecular cloud to form the sun. The remaining materials formed what is called a protoplanetary disk. Our Earth was formed. Later came the first proteins. RNA. DNA. Life. It wasn't an accident. It is thought that there are 1 billion trillion stars in the observable universe. It was statistically likely to have occurred. Over time, the atoms and molecules that make up each and every one of us rearranged themselves. Over time, they have strived to become...more complex...but why?" "Henryk Niebieski. Born...1910? There's something you aren't telling me, isn't there? I bet the nurses in the next room are wondering: How a man over 100 years old has skin smoother than their's. You know, Henryk, I think there's a reason why our paths have crossed. But I also think if you spend any more time in this hospital, they're going to keep you for themselves..." "[The weak are meat and the strong do eat.]" "The strong eat the weak, but what about parasites?" "[One who uses a host for their own survival...] Isn't that what you're doing, Mischief? ...Even with poor hearing, that voice is unforgettable. Also, pink might not be the best choice of camouflage." "That depends on who you're hiding from." "...Unlike you, I can change my color. But what color do I choose if I don't know my enemy? ...I've been having visions again. One of a machine that processes the world in 1s and 0s. I fear camouflage has no effect on those who see the world in black and white." "That chef may be grumpy, but he has a big heart. He's wrong about one thing, he thinks I can't change colors. The reality is: I don't want to. I choose to be this way! You never had a choice, though. After all this time together, it finally makes sense. And it always does. You long for your late family. 3 passed from old age...and 2 were killed in a tragic car accident. You...you think they're all gone! But the little one...I have something that you might want to know. You can choose to accept it, or not. One thing is for certain though. The truth will set you free." "What is it that consumes you? What is it that I consume? Maybe they're the same. What did I consume? Who did I consume? I can't explain why it happened. These are the answers that I search for...the answers that I need." "Your great granddaughter survived. It's only now that I drew the connection. Henryk, it's time to go home." "The intentions are pure. My vision is clear. Our goal is...communal. We have the most advanced technology. The most precise simulations. Machines that have the ability to adapt, internalize, learn...and evolve. Everything has been calculated. So why is it that deep down in the pit of my gut, there is a voice whispering to me that something's wrong. As we sanitize this Earth, the threats we face aren't scattered to the winds. They are consumed. Repurposed. Utilized. Nothing will ever be deleted. We will always have the upper hand. And yet the whisper still persists. If you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss gazes into you."

I love things that play with familiarity and the unknown. It almost seems paradoxical but being able to listen to something or view something that looks familiar, comforting, something that puts you at ease, but instead gives off a sensation that something is amiss, fearful, etc... You return to listen/look at it and find nothing, but the feeling is still there.

Will you even ever want to have regular friends knowing that it won't be long before they are old, frail, and going to beneath the ground in the time it takes to blink?

Falling into a hole or bring kidnapped and burried alive. Also once the earth is inevitably destroyed, you would float through space with no food, water, or oxygen for centuries until eventually you are pulled into the sun where you will suffer for billions of years. Then once our sun dies you will float for another long time until another star finds you and it repeats for trillions and trillions of years until the heat death of the universe where everything will reach the same temperature and you will float for eternity

The art-style is freakishly very pleasant and almost hypnotic, the story, as cryptic as it is, is very captivating and last but certainly not least the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal. That, and the story and message behind it which if you even have a set interpretation, I view as going much more deeper and touching to the core of what makes us human, and what drives our society. And needless to, the music soundtrack that accompanies it is breathtaking. I frequently lie down in the evening and listen to it with my eyes closed, drifting off to my own little world in a meditative state. It brings me vision of dark futuristic subway tunnels and monoliths and dark cities. Amazing work. I think you really are an artist.

Lastly I remember you mentioning being a fan of hunt, and on the website the road map was updated for (final) release, and we got some pretty neat stuff!

Thank you so much for this upload, you have no idea how much this series helped me get through my night shift. I wouldn't say so much the length of the content but rather the meaning that I get from it.

Definitely going in to listen to this playlist while driving a motorcycle at fast speeds. Knowing that a mere wrong turn, beetle, rock or slip could be the end of me.

8:23 I like the distorted sound of the piano, it's like is evoking some depressive story through the sad notes.

This is so wonderfully strange but so nice. I think at about the 24:40 mark the song is the perfect theme to this beautiful series not to mention this song gives me a wonderful feeling of importance. Umami thanks you for the weirdly wonderful world. -AvidD (Also I bought your poster K.A.M.I is by far my favorite design in interface and I’m glad I purchased my poster)

By far my favorite piece in this whole series has to be "The Ghost". After watching the full film version, that song just carries the most weight for me. In my psyche it represents the in full curcle the feeling this series has attempted to depict. Not just sadness or loneliness. But the disillusionment of it all. The impermanence of comfort and belonging. The slow death. Even as we live and breath. But thats the beauty of our hollow and strange existence.

This reminds me very much of the OFF ost. Both are fantastically ambient and encapsulate emotions that we can't accurately articulate. Fantastic job all round on this series, this album is a testament to the love and talent that went into it.

This soundtrack is very strong. Listening to the track of the first episode again gave me the same feelings of eeriness and uncertainty of what was going to happen, just like the first time I watched Interface. Thanks for this umami
