I just bought an 02 about a week ago, my ahc seems to be non functional. the lights on the dash never come on and the switch does nothing. I noticed the front leaning a few inches lower than the rear and the ahc reservoir is empty. I haven't bought fluid for it yet but would the ahc system be completely shut off if it dosent detect enough fluid?

@@thebiggestmac4202 Not sure if it turns the AHC system off on its own. The prior owner may have removed the fuse for the pump, effectively turning it off or may have updated something in the system to turn it off, I don't know for sure. You may end up with a rough ride. Your fluid bags might be leaking and/or pipes associated with the AHC system might be rusted or leaking. I would get that checked out ASAP. Under normal operation, pressing the off button doesn't turn it off fully and it comes back on and tries to adjust to normal mode after 25 mph. Probably not a good idea to run it without fluid tho. Could damage the pump and these parts are hard to find. Would be interested to know where you end up with it.
