I saved it to my favorites and I can't stop watching it...because you know there are parts you have missed and didn't really see because I focused on certain things and areas. Genius makeover. I experienced the changes and makeover as my own home and was brought to tears. How gorgeous!!! This place is quite narrow like mine and I truly enjoyed this whole renovation. Pocket door...genius!!! It disappears into the wall. I love it! The kitchen? Must I even mention that makeover...beautiful...quite beautiful. Maximizing the light by adding glass door...so darn gorgeous. Thank you. Great video, great renovations.

Very nice solutions!! Lovely execution on the whimsical, colour, and light. I generally don't like the the beige/white most designers Use on House and Home. However this had a boho feel with contemporary elements. Great balance; creative wall divider, nice use of colour, and you did a beautiful job. House and Home this was nice to see something different vrs the typical "white," or "beige" home!! More please

What's a powder room? People mention it in some other comments on yt and I'm guessing it's a half bath (only sink and toilet, no shower or tub)? Why is it called like that in the US?

+joanna_k The term is used as a euphemism, saying you're going to "powder your nose" instead of going to the bathroom. It's always a half bath, only a sink and toilet.

Adding a short wall to the kitchen goes against the usual, but dramatically improved both rooms. The framed stacked terra cotta brick was great; I've never seen that before. Nothing says 2010 like encaustic tile, but I suppose it shows wear better than wood.
