Miriam, your videos are soooo appreciated!! They have got to be some of THE most detailed, useful and mature decorator videos I have seen on You Tube. You don’t talk gimmicky or present ridiculous ideas as I often see. So, thank you so much for doing these.

The value of your work Miriam is that you have drawn on past global designs of wonder and brought them to the present in their evolved and suitably contemporary form. This has given us timeless beauty.

I’m binge watching her channel. Love how she doesn’t just share her design videos but shares her knowledge on design and materials. I ordered a down sofa and spent a pretty penny. I just can’t stand how lumpy and worn sofas look. We USE our sofa. Down is so fabulous as you can plump it back to form.

Miriam, you articulate your videos from the second you begin to speak. You tall with a great rhythm, not too fast or too slow and so easy to capture your audience. It is refreshing to understand each sentence and point of discussion. Great tips!! Thank you....😊

I would love to see more videos with floor plan options. I found it extremely helpful to see it on paper as well as visually in place. Your video are very informative beyond just highlighting trends and resources. I am currently living in Italy and am not able to use the resources provided by so many vloggers from the US. I am really enjoying your videos. Thanks!! 💕👍🏼

My coffee table is 18,5" high and my tv furniture is 19" high and 2,2 meter long and 20" deep. The coffee table was a kitchen table wich i made less wide and i lowered the legs. It is from about 1900. The hight is good because i do not get younger. The tv is on the long, dark brown, furniture. My italian dark grey cough/sofa is 2,5 meter long: a four seater but i only live with my son (11). Tv's should not be above the fire place: that is looking stupid and it is way too high. A laptop is also on your desk and not 20" above it. Regards from a dad with his son in the Belgium Ardennes.

My last house main room had too many focal points. We had a spectacular view over a large bay facing south. We had a fireplace at right angles to the view. We had a Steinway grand piano in the room too. We had to put the tv over the fireplace and the piano on an inside wall. It was a problem of too many focal points.

Yes loved this video. I also don’t like the tv over the fireplace. Our family room measures 17’ x 23 it has a fireplace that is centered. We have the tv in the corner next to the fireplace. The sofa and loveseat are across from the fireplace and tv for perfect viewing . I had a friend say to me why don’t you put two sofas facing each other in front of the fireplace. As much as I would love that it would not work for us, we watch tv in this room. So yes thank you for confirming that for me. I would love to see the rest of the home. ❤

I noticed on the drawing the dead space in the corner opposite the reading chair. Is it okay to have a dead space? ie Without a piece of furniture, or grounding type structure. Or can a piece of Art be that grounding? Sorry for too many questions! I just highly trust your opinion.

Would it be possible to get some info about the beautiful framed art print/painting that is showing sitting on the ledge to the left of your chair by the fireplace? It has the most beautiful blues, and looks to be a painting of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Is it an oil painting or a print? If it is a print, where could I purchase the same one?
