My color palette in my home is similar to yours with a variations of browns, , orange, green plants and different shades of creams from rugs to walls. In the front of the house is a light cream near to white and as you continue walking through the home the shade get darker. Most people don’t notice until they have meet the kitchen, family room and den. Most things I have attempted in my house I learned from your mom. And it is really great to still learn from her daughter. Thanks.

We bought our home 5 years ago. It was a brand new home so it didn’t feel like someone else’s. But I still wake up and look at my room, and think “wow! This is mine!?” I grew up really poor with a lot of people crammed into a small home. Now I have a 3,200sqft home with just 3 of us! We are still making this place a home and adding pieces and people to it! A little baby boy I’m working on is coming this fall, so his nursery is a new room for us to decorate💕

We went to check our home today, met the sellers and she was the nicest person in the world. I was just in awwww at how the upkeep of the home is and she showed us all around so we'll know this and that, the thing is she's much older and I see that in the home yet we were able to pick some items out we liked. I do feel overwhelmed about where to start and your videos are helping. We have 2,600 sq ft of all home and right not my braid is being challenged. I hope to be at some good place by summer but right now I'm just trying to breathe it all in. Our color palette is egg nod pretty much throughout the whole house, I felt like I was in a house of mirrors so I plan to do something with colors because colors and brightness are what I love.

I used the images for inspiration, but went to good old TJ Maxx/Marshalls/HomeGoods and found very similar stuff (and some identical) for about 70% of the decor in my apartment...and caught sales at the other specialty home stores. TJ Maxx has an online site, and FYI, Marshalls is launching a separate online site later this year. Also, there's a store called At Home. www.athome.com/ Look to see if there's a location near you. They are really big on having things in a huge array of colors. They don't have an online store, but I've watched quite a few "shop with me" KZbin videos, and was impressed with their assortment. They are an off-price chain, very competitive with HomeGoods.

Charcoal Grey, variety of Tropical Greens, and cream. Tiny touches of dark wood accents which bring a pop of natural woods like the color of coconut husk browns. Looks luscious. I live with my husband's family atm and they don't really have a set color palette, but when we get our own space someday I think I've got a color palette in mind I'd like to use whites and/or creams as the neutral colors and throw in maybe a choice between taupe/grey and dark brown/black (particularly for wood/metal/hardware) as some secondary colors and then dark teal as the accent color. I love the cool and clean and bright colors as the primary colors with bits of extravagance thrown in, and dark teal just feels really extravagant to me and is one of my favorite colors!

Just moved to a new home, and luckily for me, the home was already so professionally designed in advance. The color palette was perfect and spread throughout the house. Nooooo, you are NOT the only one. ... It just bugs me, lol. But .... in all honesty I'm older and there are certain woods that are like..." okay I can live with it..." But I'm that girl that likes painted wood I think it looks better, lol. Most everything in my space is painted either a shade of buttermilk ( that means it's got a little bit of a yellow tint to it ) ... cream / white / off-white ..you get the picture. Lol. BECAUSE.... I move my furniture around, to other rooms as I see fit or I if want to change things up, so the reason I like everything those colours, I can put them pretty much in any room and it's okay. I mean there's only a few pieces that wouldn't be used in another room ....I have this beautiful hand-painted console, and it has a huge mirror so that was always going to stay where it is.

I would LOVE to see an outdoor patio video as well (and how to plan the yard space you have for entertaining vs area for greenery/flowers etc To answer your Q: I would say grey, white, and dark brown (through wood and amber bottles/vases in some rooms). I use raw wood looking pieces as a layer of added texture in each room

Brown, mustard and pale blue in my living room, with little splashes of orange. It’s a rental so the blue walls are throughout my place and I like them, thankfully. You gave great suggests on decor and how to bring certain items, colours fabrics together. My decor is the colour grey throughout...... in my dinning room/ kitchen I have grey units and then I’ve introduced navy, pink and white which I believe looks calming and is very modern in style. My hall is white with grey and black decor. I have made some coat hooks, added a large mirror to help reflect the light, pictures and shelving. My living room is white with grey accessories and then I’ve added the colour black through the use of decor, pictures and also have oak furniture with black hardware, striped and pattered cushions and black and white zig, zag curtains. Adding a fluffy rug that I believe brings the room together. My bathroom and small toilet is white with black and grey. My bedrooms are of the same colour but with different materials and various shades of grey. I’ve used different textures and various materials making each bedroom different. Thank you for your insight as I will use some of your ideas for finishing touches.

Before I met my boyfriend, he'd moved into his first apartment and bought a RED couch!!! We don't have the money to get a new one, so I'm trying to make the rest of my living room black and white so the red couch is the color. The rest of the house is definitely more blues and browns with the exception of my office, which I wanted a star theme for, so it's blacks and grays. Love your channel!

We just moved into our new condo six month ago...although still completing the rooms, most have been set up...I totally related to you on the weirdness upon first arriving at a new place....now my living room is has a mid-century/art deco look with black, gray, oak, gold, and bit of white...and of course lots of greeneries.
