Hi Sharrah, for your garden, try crushing up eggshells so and putting them all around the base of your plants, as snails don't like to walk over them. You could also cover your bed in gravel or a mulch. Also, eco pest or neem oil does really well.

Moss balls would look great in the dining room bowl along with your chunky candlesticks and a few mercury accessories. Also pillar candles with bark exteriors would work. All the best to you and your Mom.

Such a beautiful home! Cedar wood chips can keep insects at bay and can be elegantly displayed in bowls if you don’t want to blanket the soil. Many citrus and evergreen species can help. See what insects are most common in your area and find plants that specifically repel those and do well in the climate zone. Using a humidifier and oils if you have plants that like humidity, this can be very effective, just be careful when choosing the oil.

Sorry to say it, but guava plants take 3 years to finally mature enough to bear fruit. I grew up in the Philippines and we planted 3 of them in the back yard. When they did finally start producing though, we had so many guavas! It was great! Love the house tour and you and your mom, and I can't wait to see what all Kinwoven does!

Hi Sharrah, about your garden - find out the names of the bugs (Charlie, Fred etc...lol) that you don't want & google what plants they don't like and then put those plants in your garden. Also, find out what friendly bugs eat the nasty bugs and include plants that those friendly bugs LIKE...within time you'll have a little ecosystem that takes care of itself. Your home is lovely and I'm looking forward to discovering more about Kinwoven...tfs

Beautiful home! Be sure to check out the Bonide products for your garden. I use the Captain Jack’s Dead Bug ready to use apart from them and it works well. Most of their products are organic, which is really what you want to use on things you are going to eat. Good luck!
