If you choose the build room tool they are straight, there is also a snapping option I found at the top of the screen but I don't know if that can also work for walls you place individually ^^

I posted a house flipper video a few days ago 😊 they can take a long time to make, I'm always working on something so will post new ones as soon as they are ready ^^

There are story mode quests you complete which earn you a currency which you then use for unlocking new items in sandbox mode

I don't think you can, at least not that I have figured out, you can rotate the door so it opens out of the room but I don't know of a way to swap which side the door opens sorry.
