Anthony's more modern, lighter, industrial taste is more my style, and also what I would want to live with on a day-to-day basis. Phoenix' sexy, moody, elegant taste is more like what I'd want to experience for a weekend in a four/five star hotel. Can't wait to see how these dreamy, high-budget visions translate to a smaller, more budget-friendly first home they eventually buy.

I preferred almost all of Anthony's designs, most especially the bedroom and the kitchen. And the closet. Oh, and the entry. Oops, and the bathroom. Phoenix won the office; didn't care for all of the concrete but loved the cantilevered desk. And OF COURSE there has to be a coffee bar in the kitchen. And another one in the bedroom. Great video guys, that was fun!

My vote is you're a gorgeous couple. Thanks Anthony for the closet comment, my mind went there too :) Industrial grey bedroom with black velvet ceiling-to-floor drapes, charcoal grey silk sheets on bed with a black lustre velvet quilt cover and large black marble lamps, dark wood herringbone floor. Kitchen in marble everything with shou sugi ban cabinetry. Compromise on the coffee station, with a purpose inbuilt cupboard space with split doors that open out and then fold away. Beautiful when displayed for Anthony, hidden away when not in use for Phoenix.

Winners Bathroom - I like both, the boyfriend has my japandi bathroom which I love so I would lean toward his design but seeing it with the two bedroom options design daddy’s bathroom matches better (since I’m assuming it’s the master bath) Bedroom- design daddy Entry - boyfriend Kitchen - boyfriend Closer - design daddy - I have always wanted a garden in the center of my house. The second I saw that I was like he wins! YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS! Office- design daddy - all I want are huge windows with beautiful forest views If your next place is small though I think all of these dark features are just going to make the space feel even smaller. But I think when you do get a large home these will be beautiful and there is definitely a way to blend both styles in a beautiful way. There are definitely overlaps with the closet and I think dark spaces overlap in both designs as well. I think you’ll end up with a beautiful home in the end. On a different note, you two are so adorable together, you look like you have great chemistry and have a relationship full of laughter and joy. I hope we get to see him again in the future when you guys actually start designing your place.

By far this is one of the best videos you did, it needs to have a lot of courage to show your partner to the world and it was amazingly well done in this format. It is hard to select one aesthetic to be the winner but in my opinion Anthony caught my attention with his choices and I can't to lie because this is the purpose of this chapter but he has a very good taste I would say. Bathroom - the green and walnut Phoenix's Bedroom - I really like Anthony's best. Foyer - I'd mix them. Pivot door with herringbone floor. Kitchen goes to Anthony Closet the beautiful one Phoenix's Office I could only think of dust with Phoenix's. I don't really like either one. I'd definitely need plants. This is really great video. I totally get you when you say you want loads of natural light. I too have lived in dark flats (in the last one I had literally 2 hours of natural light per day for 13 years). Now thankfully I have loads of natural light all day coming in from 4 huge windows and breathtaking views of the sea. You'll get there too! On a side note, Anthony is so cute!

Just remember my taste ( or lack of lol ) influenced these decisions, so here I go ( please do not ban me ) Bathroom: Anthony as I like a bit of marble but not a lot. Bedroom: a combination as I think it would look fracking awesome with blackout motorized blinds for coziness. Also, Anthony LED battery candles are fantastic for setting the mood without being a fire hazard. Foyer: Phoenix for the win!! I am bewitched by the wraparound molding/picture framing.. Kitchen :Phoenix for the color and texture of the cabinets, Anthony for the large window and island. Dressing room: Phoenix beautiful!!! Office: Anthony as I love plants and industrial look of the office.

I don't think it's a matter of design quality. You both have a great sense of design, but your style is different. I can tell you that opposites attract, as my husband and I have spent the past 43 years making compromises successfully. You both are so handsome and funny!
