What are some tasks that you would like to automate or are already automating?

Happy to help! I've seen examples of scripts that would automate that process, but they are a bit complex for beginners so I'm looking to simplify the script as much as I can. Thanks!

Sir would you please explain how to automate the casework dimensions in internal elevation we just put on these sheets. Like vanity / island / OHC with reference to the ground floor.

How can you tag and dimension the bathrooms in the linked file so it can automatically appear in the project file?

Brilliant script. I am starting a new fit-out project and I was looking for or trying to create "create view by room with dynamo" but I am having no luck. My last 2 fit-outs project had over 150 elevations view that was manually done. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way I can get this to apply to multiple sheets or to all the sheets in my project?

Wonderful. Are any of those scripts in your dynamo player available for download?

Hi Alberto. Thanks for the video. I was wondering if there were any way to do this for any view placed on sheets? I have tried to run the script on any views and I see it works for Detail Views but not for Elevations. Thanks

Hey Carmine, so far I've only used it for elevations. I'm assuming the crop boundary for those elevation is visible and Thin Lines is off, correct? If you still can't see it, it's possible that the line width isn't thick enough for you to notice. Usually above 5 should be visible on a print, but I recommend 7. Also I would recommend running some print test or even just use the print preview to check how the thickness of those outlines change. Let me know how you manage to fix it!

Great video, SUPER helpful, thank you! I just upgraded to 2021 and the "Sheets" node is now yellow with red label "unresolved" - Rhythm package installed in 2021 Dynamo, but how do get back the drop-down sheet select menu. Worked fine in RVT 2019. Dynamo 2021 > SheetName node doesn't have drop down for selection...H E L P! Thank you

Thanks for your comment. I reopened all the files in this tutorial with these versions and they worked for me right away: Revit 2021.1.2, Dynamo 2.6.1, Rhythm 2020.1.24. Dynamo it's OOTB version, you may have to install an older version of Rhythm for this to work. Perhaps mine is too old than it needs to be, but in a pinch, it should get you out of trouble. For the drop-down make sure the node is set to input. You also may have to rename the node (say "Select Sheet") and then make sure it's still set as input. With this change, the script worked for me in Revit 2021. Let me know if that helps!

There are several prerequisites to this method. I assume you are changing the viewport crop region. It is only useful if you are plotting with crop regions displayed. If you do so you could have many errors if users leave crop regions on for views you don't want a boundary on. Like plan or detail views. This also doesn't work for partial elevations where one or two sides are open and you don't want a heavy line but a break line instead. Some people at my place of business have tried to use this method and it inevitably resulted in poor drafting and wasted time in plotting. I can't even get people to stop changing dimension accuracy to 1/2" or 1" let alone turning off crop region visibility in a view where you don't want it to plot!
