Hi Phil/Jess, great video! I would say that my go to on soft black is Sonax Perfect Finish. I really love this stuff with Rupes yellow pad or Sonax’s purple pad. Thanks for the review though on the Koch product.

That Ulen’s polish is no joke. Great on overspray. 3D One on my black Camry was good. Koch Chemie is on my list of products to try, once I use a few of the items I have. So many!!

Awesome video as always! Very informative and satisfying to watch! I've been running my business solely with Koch Chemie, please try the other compounds and pads they have! The red heavy cut is insane, no dusting, long working times and great cutting.

Another great video, guys! I use those exact tire shine applicators. I love them! I get about 25-30 cars out of them before they're trashed. By that point, though, the foam backing is peeling away from the applicator part. 😂😂 They're very economical and easy to use for sure!

Great video. I never use black or soft pads on soft black paint. They don’t work, I’m my experience. B&S yellow finish great on soft black!

Daaaammmnnnn! This pillars!!! I had the exact same look on my face when I saw that. 😂 By the way, that scratched up rear passenger side plastic quarter panel trim, you can use that Meguiars plastic polish to smooth it out and look much nicer. It won't be perfect, but 10 inches away, it will look amazing. It will also work on "stained" plastic like the trim on the front. Absolutely great work! Surprised the customer didn't ask to remove that CARMAX tarnish on the rear hatch door.

Ι love gyeon leather coat to. Udos polisher...very heavy when you working with it...... i am not sure that the ... multiple functions..really saves time or money because you buy one not 3 different machines.... I suggest to try it if you can... BEFORE you spent the money to buy it.....to see if you like it. I love AIOs. Here in Europe many options ,i like sonax polish wax no2,3 ( not avaliable in US), sholl consepts A15, and Koch chemie P6 ( really like it). Keep up Phil great content

Rupes DA fine is my favourite polish...and it works well with minimal passes....whether on their wool pad or foam it finishes down great. I've got Pure but not tried it yet.

Everyone loves the micro cut and purple pad combo. The only negative I have read is that the pad is not the most durable. Have you experienced any premature deterioration of the purple pad?

Good morning Phil/Jess great video always looking forward to ur videos 👍. I saw you polishing the wheels nice job but when I did it with a da and griots fast correcting cream I remove the paint. Oops 😂 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ How do u recommend I should go about it?? Any advice helps…Thanks!!!
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Aw man! Yeah paint on wheels is very thin. Not sure why they do that. They get lots of wear and tear. I try to just polish by hand now. If you burnt through they need to be repaired and repainted unfortunately.

On harder paints, if you were to do a paint correction even with an AIO would it be better to begin with a microfiber polishing pad vs using foam? On hard paint I find foam pads take ALLOT more work. When do you cross the line between using foam? and Microfiber? Thanks for your time.
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Good question. I guess I would do a few test spots to see what cuts and finishes the best. I have done all in ones before with a microfiber pad and it finished great. So yeah a test spot is good to do. 😎👍🏼
@marksafady10592 жыл бұрын
There is no one pad for 1-steps. Like you said, it depends on paint hardness. Pointless to use foam on hard paint. I don’t like using polishes with wax or sealant with micro fiber pads. The wax gunks up the fibers quickly and it’ll leave marring
@eppyz2 жыл бұрын
@@marksafady1059 the paint in question is VW pure white which from what i have read on many detailing forums is one of the hardest German paint colors to paint correct. There are dealer induced minor to medium swirl marks. M205, Meguiars UC either with a orange foam won't even touch it. I do agree microfiber will be a must but keep in mind polishing paint doesn't remove the defects rather removes clear to the defect level. I'm trying to keep as much OEM clear as possible since the vehicle lives in a severe heat climate. It's difficult to justify a correction that will remove clear in hopes that a nano coating will replace what you just took off. In my experience this is not true. Nothing beats the factory clear for durability. Just trying to do right by the car and decide what to live with or correct.
@marksafady10592 жыл бұрын
@@eppyz I completely agree. Not worth it to remove a lot of clear in order to remove defects, but that should be left up to the owner.
@eppyz2 жыл бұрын
@@marksafady1059 in this particular case I am the owner. This is why it's difficult. For a customer it's an easy choice which is usually dictated by price. For myself it's more about longevity of the paint. Sure there are heavier compounds and denser pads but I know a nano coating can't replace factory clear. That is why I'm using a mild compound choice and trying to figure out a compromise. This is a daily not a garage queen the area is harsh on paint so trying to just find a happy medium.
