For anyone that is interested , When Yvan answered my question about door trim coatings I found the following. TW Inside Job cleans , protects rubber etc.with ceramic graphine and with some silicone thrown in. It does a fantastic job. Yvan’s tip about treating moon roof seals is very good ( who knew ). 🇨🇦👍👍

The solvent-based silicone dressing that I’m using is actually great, it’s lasting longer than 3 weeks, on the vehicles that I’ve tire prepped and dressed, they commute multi-city trips, 5 days a week. One product I use for the rubberized material on doors is TAC System AllMighty, and it also works on glass and paint.

Great info in regards to professional coatings. Never understood the need for "certified installer" coatings, but with Yvan's comment on high spots and some coatings even needing UV/heat lamps, it makes sense.

yeah isnt it! I used the mineral deposit remover from DIY on my car and it woke up the whole thing. Previous water spot remover than I used were trashed. Thanks for watching Rowland.

Just found out about polishing the whole panel for a hight spot. I was afraid of coatings because they all said do 100 small squares

​@MrKennyanders only if applying in high temp with high humidity. Ex. With the Gyeon Syncro kit that comes with Skin & Mohs, you need to work in no more than 2'x2' areas with the SKIN and level almost immediately in high temps & humidity. The Mohs application was more forgiving but also flashed quickly.
