My guess is the house was built in the 50's. The land is gorgeous! Incredible in size and lush greenery! Any fruit tree's in the backyard to pick fresh each day? Beautiful. I’m so glad you painted the iron work the same color. It reminds me of lace. I really don’t think all of the contrasting trim colors I see are necessary. It also drives me crazy when the arches are painted a different color. I think it takes away from the architecture. But that’s just me. I too love the neutrals and simple paint schemes. Great work.

The green tile is a type of hydraulic tile, losa criolla, called marbled tile, and it's not common to find it that nicely preserved, i congratulate yall! Also, the curly thingies you took.out from the balcony gate you can use, if you want to, as a plant hanger near the patio or the garage. I did the same to some I inherited from my grandma. Congrats for the remodel, looks pretty nice!

I have a question,why are entry doors to homes in Puerto Rico installed with the hinges face to the exterior of the house . A family member of mine had there home broken into by knocking the bolts off the hinges of the door and just removed it with out damage to the framing.

Your guess is as good as mine, but I think it’s because when they are old that was the thing back then, maybe then they invented the more secure ones after or the ones that are inside. Now they are called “security “ hinges so you can’t break in to the new door apparently.

Great job guys! you guys have great taste. The floors obviously adds its own character and gives the house personality imo. Its moderned up with a bit of old school on the floor. The lights, fixtures, doors and everything is just well done. The decoration will be dope can’t wait. 🙏🏽🫡
