It is possible to carve a Barrington out of wood, treat it with something, so that lasts 100 years. It would be heavy though. Park Systems sometimes decorate the park with animal carvings. The bear you found can always be with you.

I'm older than you, I'm in my late twenties, but I recently moved back home with my family after some really big complicated life events and for the past month I've been completely making over their home. I've sanded and repainted furniture they had, reupholstered things, found free furniture and made it over, organized and landscaped and upgraded things like their drawer pulls, new doors, installed coat hooks, etc... it's been a fun project and really wholesome. I'm going over old pictures with my mom and I'm doing projects on the weekends with my dad. I was in a hurry to grow up and move out so I left home super early. Now that I'm back I'm appreciating this a lot. And I appreciated your wholesome video 👍😊

KZbin randomly recommended this to me and I wasnt expecting much. Wow! Your editing, the tension, the story telling, the wholesome interactions with people around town and your family (while respecting their privacy). The stardew references. Different camera angles. Decent audio setup. Funny captions (out of shape breathing at the beginning or whatever it was? Cracked me up 😂). This deserves a subscribe!

Im a seasoned video reviewer and this video captivated me. It had a retro Napoleon dynamite nostalgia to it. That wholesom late 80s-90s feel to it. Wholesome in every way. I found myself rooting for homie like no other. He honors his parents like God say you should. Very biblical with his methods. Hes not scared to get his hands dirty. He totally reorganized and decluttered the yard and garage. Ppl dont realize this but the Lord loves a good bbq. Why you think ppl always burned the best sheep as an offering to him? Dudes got mad skills on the grill. The lord would be very happy. He went store to store searching for his families long lost bearington. Smaller does not mean lacking. He found what he was questing for. Pops was very happy and moms got some flowers. He is basically an architect putting together a shed. He demolished the old one wielding the power of Thor. The video ends with him having a radiant and happy smile. Good job brother. And God bless.

Alex, you are off to a great start and it looks like you made some new friends in the process! Congrats on that-having a plan and following through with a plan-works. I know your parents are really proud. You need to keep at it-get other family members to help if possible - cousins? siblings? Yard work is something you have to committ to every week to stay on top of it and more often with all of the storms we are having, you know-picking up fallen limbs, sticks, debris. I don't know you but am very proud of you. You rock!

After watching (a lot of) KZbin for more than ten years, this is my first ever comment. I was just blown away by your video (for once, thank you KZbin algorithms!). The videography, audio, editing, storytelling... it's on par with top tier KZbinrs - and without the resources they have. I understand it can be tough to break into the KZbin space, even after a viral video like this one, but all I can say is that I (and obviously many other commenters) believe in you and hope you'll keep going. Your personality and talent are obvious. Subscribed and hoping you're doing well :)

I must say, it's sooo refreshing to see someone, of the younger generation, come on here and show how positive, helpful, caring and kind they can be! Not to forget, you vocabulary is spot on! I'm so sick of hearing AND seeing our younger generation act foolish and speak as if they've had absolutely no academia in their lives!!! You kind Sir, are an EXTRAORDINAIRE and definitely a role model for others!!! I'm a mother of 3 boy's, a 28 yr old, an 11 yr old and a 9 yr old. I know, I know, what a HUGE gap between my eldest and the younger two. But, they are truly MY WORLD!!! You remind me of my eldest BUT I will say... I DO believe that you are much more of a "GO GETTER" than he! Keep up the PHENOMENAL attitude AND work. Please, NEVER lose the REAL you, the TRUE you! Ya know, with how easily this world can chew you up and then spit you out... try REALLY hard to NEVER give in and become someone you're not!!! Stand PROUD, and continue to be the PRODIGIOUS man that you are!!! Oh, and don't forget to thank your mom and dad for doing a MARVELOUS job raising you. They definitely deserve it!!! I believe I would have chosen a sunny spot where I would want to plant a vegetable garden and then would have started layering all those dead leaves and cut-up branches there to turn into compost. That would save trips to the local landfill. And I would use a garden hose to wet down the compost pile. And every time I mowed the lawn or trimmed the shrubs, I would add more layers of trimmings to the compost pile and wet it down again. After a year, there would be some rich topsoil to work into the soil and create a vegetable garden patch.

I accidentally did this in a trashcan 😂.. filled it up with weeds and such and i noticed there would suddenly be more space so I’d shrug and top it off with more leaves.. then finally when I decided the day had come to empty it.. I couldn’t move it.. it was so heavy! Lol so I pushed it over and all the good stuff spilled out.. I threw it in my flower bed and in no time.. I had an explosion of weeds.. 😂😂
@gonefishing3644
@gonefishing3644 10 ай бұрын
@@EriBarr Yes, weed seeds like fertile soil too. Spread out your seed-filled homemade compost and work it into the planting bed using a shovel or spade. Then water well and let the weeds spout. Kill them by raking or hoeing the soil every few days once the weed seeds start sprouting. Do this until there are few new weeds. Then plant the little vegetable plants you already started in little pots and water them in. Then cover the exposed soil around the vegetable plants with a layer of salvaged cardboard or rolls of black plastic sheeting to serve as weed barriers. Water your planting bed periodically so the vegetable plants do not get too dry. Keep the above ground vegetable produce (peppers, tomatoes, beans, peas...) picked so the plants will continue to produce. As the growing season comes to an end, let the last of the produce mature fully so you can save some vegetable seeds to plant next spring. Plant only heirloom variety seeds so the next generation will remain true to form.
