When discussing bead sizes…what I learned was….beads are measured top to bottom in length. 15mm means if you line then up you from top to bottom, you will find will fit fifteen beads per inch, If using size 11, line up from end to end you will fit 11 beads etc…that is what I was taught when beading was before internet. That worked for me years ago…it wasn’t an exact science, but it kept me very close to knowing how many beads needed for a project

Unfortunately I have to watch the replay on the KZbin because I do work in the time the live is on, but I’m happy to be part of the classes . I started about 10 years ago but I could not go far, like you said not to much info that time , but i’m learning so much now. Thank you to teaching us🤗

My favorite small beads are Myuki?…can’t remember the actual name. They are much smoother and consistent in sizing…Angie, if you want some real pearls , contact me…pretty sure I’ve got some few ones and plenty of Nymeo thread, black and white…
