Excause me🙏 I have a question about grammar. In 00:19 of video “Jenny was sat on the tube….” Why isn’t “Jenny was sitting on the tube…” I don’t understand.😢

Thanks for watching 😊 “was sat” is informal colloquial language that you would probably hear people say more often. “Was sitting” is technically correct. Hope this helps!
