Thank you so much for all your work and for your useful videos on Japanese grammar. 7:07 kodomo wo rippa ni soudate ageru to dekimashita. I do not understand the grammar point "to dekimashita". Is that the same as "koto ga dekimashita"?

That sentence means "I was able to raise the child well." Now the verb "dekimashita" (or "was able to") shows the success in doing so. I hope that answers the question ☺

楽しかったです。今日のレッスンはちょっと簡単だった。and because we have already learnt about ながら in N5 so, it was bit easy to understand. I have a question, I think in casual conversation We don't need to conjugate that last とことだ and のだ while using つまり, right? 🙏

In casual conversation, it's common to omit the conjugations for ところだ and のだ when using つまり (tsumari). This helps to keep the conversation more relaxed and natural. So, you can often use つまり without those conjugations in everyday chats. Feel free to ask more questions and がんばってくださいね 🤗
