Hi Drex, the frenchie finished the beginner section, and after 3 weeks working on the transitions skills I'm back to drill down those intermediate sections. Thx to your teaching (and the volume of work I put haha) I understood all the theory of this Zan's Diamond in an hour. I got all the movements, I just need some pause before starting the antispins. Good teacher keep it up 😁

I had someone once describe it as extending a butterfly up and down, then split time butterfly side to side. Then practice throwing a butterfly diagonally up and down, like a v. Then the same upside down, like an upside down v. After I drilled it many times it just clicked. It’s easier to show than it is to type but I hope this makes sense to someone

Yes, this is very helpful to me ! Butterflies. the first move many of us learn as it is, the basic one! But it and all its variations are the cornerstone of so many moves.

Hey Drex if I wanted to do this same move but with the poi moving in whats considered going out (each poi just moving the opposite direction as your spinning them in this video) would just then reverse all the movements you instruct here?

amazing video drex! a while back you featured a documentary in progress called Momentum, with Tim Goddard and others. Do you know anything about its progress and when it may be out?

thanks for making this video. I'd like to think I'm doing some advanced stuff but this "intermediate" move has been tough to learn. I'm sure this will help.. btw what are you using to pick up your audio/voice so clear?
@DrexFactor7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm using a lavalier mic. I run it into an old iPhone and record through Voice Memos, then bring the audio file into Audacity to do compression and noise removal.
