These are popular in West Virginia and Pennsylvania because of the steep fields there. Can't beat a low wide tractor.

Good morning Ben,what a nice old tractor.This 464 will put the newer tractors to shame.Tractors are not built like they were,30-40 year's ago.That 464 will be around many,many years from now.Thanks for the ride, just beautiful.Have a blessed day and be SAFE.🚜👍👏❤️🙏

Nice tractor, Ben. I've seen a few of these on marketplace. It's amazing that they're still bringing in a little more than half of what they originally sold for. I noticed that really smooth ride as you were coming down the driveway.

Yes most tractors of that era still sell for a good price! Tractors are actually a good investment. I like driving this one. Thanks for watching!

I am not good with equipment but I understood about the clutch slipping! I have been on a tractor that started doing that so when you described it I was like hey I knew what he meant when he said it felt like it was slipping! Haha. Glad you were able to make an adjustment to help fix that! You are absolutely right about cleaning the tractors to prevent issues/fires. We had talked about doing that so once we are settled in the house, that would be a good winter project to take on. Ill say "Ben said so!" lol Thanks for another great video Ben! We all enjoy them!

Well I’m glad you did understand the issue it was having and how that feels. Yes it’s good to clean the tractors good occasionally. I worry about things that may cause a fire. Thanks for watching!

There's always a 434, 444, 454 (and so on) International tractor listed on marketplace around here. They seemed pretty popular in their time, but I don't have any experience with them... cool video!

I’ve never worked an International tractor any myself. Seems to be a decent tractor. Appreciate you watching!

We did get some snow last night but not too much. We have paved horse and buggy trails for roads for sure 😂! Very observant, yes the starter is fairly new. Hope to get the other filters in today or tomorrow and finish up the job! Thanks for watching!

Hey Ben, I love the road trips, neat to see the countryside. The one pickup had a snowplow on? You guys expecting snow soon? The tractor looks like a good one. Wow, that's a lot of dirt in there. Thanks for sharing and keep the great videos coming.

We had snow last night but not as much as predicted. I got the filters all in today so I’ll get things finished up this week on it! Thanks for watching!

I bought a 485 last year and baled with it. Real fuel efficient. Traded for a 585 with a cab.

Good morning Ben. I was surprised to see fluid coming out of the valve stem when it looked like (the stem) was near the 12’O’clock position. I thought one was supposed to leave room for expansion, especially in cold weather climates. Can you educate me on this practice? Thought you all would be knee deep in snow by now. Thanks for bringing us all along. Keep safe.
@khtractors2 жыл бұрын
I’d guess the tire is just slightly over filled with fluid. We had snow last night but not the the extent they predicted. Thanks for watching!

15:40. Oil is good inuff for any Diesel engine. There's a lot of fusing about when it comes to oil.
@khtractors2 жыл бұрын
That’s kinda what I was thinking too. Just thought I’d do what the manual said. Im pretty sure 15w40 wouldn’t cause any issues. Thanks for watching!

I had a 464 gas, I fought with that thing for 20 years it was the biggest heap of junk I ever owned I’m surprised at the comments most people really admire that machine maybe I was doing something wrong with it but it just seemed about as heavy duty as a large lawn tractor not really a farm tractor at all
@khtractors2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never worked it any to see how it really performs. Drives good though. I had a 3000 ford gas and it was nothing compared to the diesel version I had later. Appreciate you watching!

I was given an international 464 and spent $800 to get it running good. I do t know how to warm up the plugs, what the dial on the left is for, how to turn on lights, what the button on the dash is for. I own it but know little about it. Perhaps a video on what things do on it. I just tried starting it and it and the fan would turn as I turned the key but it wouldn’t fire up. So frustrating, need to box blade some dirt. Any help would be appreciated

This isn’t my tractor so I’ll not be much help. I don’t think those have glow plugs. They came with an either injection starting aid. Or at least that’s how this one is. Make sure your fuel shutoff just below the steering wheel is raised up which is on. If nothing else give it a small shot if starting fluid and see.
