International Career Fair 2022

On 27 October 2022, companies based in Dortmund and the region used the International Career Fair to present themselves to TU Dortmund University students from more than 30 countries. A total of 25 companies were represented, from A for Albonair to Z for Zalando.
The International Career Fair is a special fair format and brings together qualified young academics from all over the world with attractive companies from Dortmund and the region. From the student side, the fair is primarily aimed at international graduates and students; after all, more than 5,000 students with an international background study at TU Dortmund University and predominantly study so-called STEM subjects. The companies from Dortmund and the region offer exciting prospects for young professionals, working students or interns - and the fair brings these two groups into contact. It is not only the day of the fair that is exciting, but a lot also happens in the run-up: After registration, the organizers carry out a matching process so that graduates and employers are brought together for appointments as precisely as possible. This means that the talks in the morning are very targeted and both sides benefit from the matching. In the afternoon, the format is open for everyone.

Am 27. Oktober 2022 nutzten Firmen mit Sitz in Dortmund und der Region die Internationale Karriere-messe, um sich Studierenden der TU Dortmund aus mehr als 30 Ländern zu präsentieren. Insgesamt 25 Unternehmen waren vertreten, von A wie Albonair bis Z wie Zalando.
Die Internationale Karrieremesse ist ein besonderes Messeformat und bringt qualifizierten akademischen Nachwuchs aus aller Welt mit attraktiven Unternehmen aus Dortmund und der Region zusammen. Von Studierendenseite richtet sich die Messe vor allem an internationale Absolventen*innen und Studierende; immerhin studieren an der TU Dortmund über 5.000 Studierende mit internationalen Hintergrund und belegen überwiegend sog. MINT-Fächer. Die Unternehmen aus Dortmund und der Region bieten für Berufseinsteiger*innen, Werkstudent*innen oder Praktikant*innen spannende Perspektiven - und die Messe bringt diese beiden Gruppen in den Austausch. Dabei ist nicht nur der Messetag spannend, sondern auch im Vorfeld passiert eine Menge: Nach der Anmeldung findet von Seiten der Organisatoren*innen ein Matching statt, so dass Absolvent*innen und Arbeitgeber*innen möglichst passgenau für Termine zusammengebracht werden. Dadurch sind die Gespräche am Vormittag sehr zielgerichtet und beiden Seiten profitieren von dem Matching. Am Nachmittag ist das Format offen.
