Rhett’s knowledge of foods from around the globe is remarkable. His ability to deduce location by ingredients and guess correctly is uncanny.
@carrieadcock12503 жыл бұрын
This is completely unrelated but I saw that you use the word uncanny and I had to tell this because it was hilarious. I grew up in Mississippi and it is basically known as a retirement State there aren't many people that live there who are under the age of 60. When I was younger I was talking to my best friend's mother about how her son look just like his dad and that it was uncanny when they stood side-by-side. And she asked me you are uncanning something ? She was an amazing woman and this was pretty typical in Mississippi. Nobody really knew English. Most of the people that live there still don't today LOL if you read this all the way to the bottom I am so sorry haha

As a Czech, seeing someone eat švestkové knedlíky with their bare hands is...disconcerting :D We generally wouldn't put a whole large peach in there, but rather one half or so. Plums (švestky) could probably be used whole. Either way, these are a wonderful treat traditionally made by one's grandma ;)

Thank you for putting something so familiar to me and my culture in this episode! I'm of Polish decent and we use uszka dumplings mostly for Christmas eve dinner and they are always in our barszcz soups. You guys made my day with the Poland cam!

i distinctly remember watching you guys 8 years ago in my 5th grade english class on friday’s. you made me look forward to going to that class every friday. i’m so glad i’ve gotten back into watching you guys, the nostalgia is amazing. however, i’m not able to find any of the videos i would have watched back then because your account only goes back to 4 years ago :/

I've learned more about cuisine from Rhett's deductions then any cooking show I've watched. He not only enjoys food but he can articulate so much about what he eats and where it's from, its uncanny. This is probably my favorite Where In The World episode. (Just read the comment from Nobunaga Oda underneath mine after I posted this and I am going to leave my post unedited only because its awesome we both said essentially the same thing lol)

It'd be better if they had some POC representation though. There's a lot of whiteness on the show, and some more diversity and inclusion to better reflect the current face of America would help alleviate the system of whiteness in america, besides that i love this show too
