Now, India has a network of 75 Ramsar sites (as of 15 August 2022)added recently...India has the highest number of Ramsar sites in South Asia. Tamil Nadu has the highest number of Ramsar Sites in India with 14 Indian Wetlands, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 10 wetlands on the list (as of August 2022).
