International Prostar STOP ENGINE BUZZER… Perfect solution!! Part 1

Thank you for your service to this country. I have an older 3800 international bus and I could t for the life of me find the buzzer, I'm convinced it's in the air pressure gauge on the older one and is a little more difficult to access as it's incased in the gauge itself, but I plan to dismantle it anyway.

Awesome fix. The issue is the low coolant level module. It's a rectangular flat 4 wire connector that sits outside the main engine harness that runs in front of the top engine spec plate on the driver side. It has the letters ABCDE printed on the connector. It fails over time. Sometimes, depending on what circuit inside fails. It could shut down your engine even if you're driving down the road. Or it can just beep saying coolant low. Both let's you restart the engine resetting it. Both are annoying. You can replace it yourself. Just unclip the old module and clip in the new one. It costs about $150 from the dealers. It's cheaper online. But the switch is an awesome idea.

The low air buzzer doesn't have to work if the low air light works. Has to be one or the other, or both working.

Here in Canada, you need the buzzer as well as the low air light on the gauge. Dot will write you up if the buzzer isn't working

If the pressure, battery, and heat clocks go down, disconnect the computer from the cabinets that are located at the left foot of the driver in the musculoskeletal of the door. disconnect it and blow it and connect it again and it WILL fix the problem

Hey so your stop engine light comes on, but it doesn’t shut your truck down? I changed my fuel filters trash got in the lines and I blew them out. Now truck stop engine light comes on and shut engine down.

No. It’s been running for years with that condition.

@@urfanmalik3456 I have a 2012 international 4300 w/ max force engine with stop engine light and I checked just about every sensor and fluid levels and it comes back on after about 10 min. When stop engine light comes on we can only go about 30-35 mph . Ugh! I wish I knew how to delete all the after treatment off this truck.

I suppose that would all depend on if your truck has been deleted…. But all my gauges are normal and drives fine without de rate but the stop engine buzzer has been on for years now.

@urfanmalik3456 oh okay well i dont know if my truck is been deleted or not i have the same truck 2010 international prostar with cummis engine and recently the stop engine light came on and i pull over and as soon as i stop the light turns off then is fine again

@@APTunning your problem could just be a sensor issue… because the stop engine comes on only because of specific issues, like the coolant level sensor or the oil pressure sensor or the after treatment ect… you may want to get it diagnosed… might just be something very simple.

It’s not necessarily deleted. Mine was deleted and this sound drove me crazy for 3 years.

On the back of the DEF tank there is a box that has fuses in them one of those fuses goes to that buzzer unplug the fuse takes about 10 seconds

There is no fuse for the buzzer...that's wrong...

@@racketmaker81 I'm not exactly sure which one it is you have to turn the buzzer on look at the diagram on the box for yourself and pull which one you think it is
