International Red Panda Day 2021

This year we have something extra special to celebrate! We're so happy to be raising these two red panda cubs at the Zoo. One is being raised by her mom, Maiya, but one had breathing and nursing struggles when she was born, so the Zoo made the difficult decision to hand-rear her. Against all odds, she survived, and she's thriving behind the scenes.
We can't wait for the day we can reunite her with her family!
